1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. (Pause) Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep, and all the organs of your body will function properly. You will hear me and answer all my questions. You have before you this afternoon the body of Miss [4275], and the body is present in this room. Now, Mr. Cayce, I want you to go over this body that you have before you from head to foot, and examine the body carefully, and tell me of any ailments or disorders that you may find within the body, and tell me what will cure or relieve the body from the conditions that you find. Miss [4275], present in this room.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, the abnormal conditions that we find in this body have to do with the effect that the impignionment [impingement], or the lesions that have been formed by impignionment to nerve centers have on the functioning organs of the system throughout. Now, these are the condition that we find in this body - Miss [4275] we are speaking of, present here in this room. The blood forces in the system are deficient in their action over the system, caused by the lack of the system being able to produce in the system those component parts of the hemoglobin in the blood, to produce the rebuilding forces in the body - not that we have a blood condition that is contaminated by outside forces, but an anemiatized condition, without being wholly anaemic. See?
FEM: Yes, sir.
3. The nerve forces in this body, we find there are lesions formed along the spine; some have been caused by cold and congestion, and some have been caused - as the one we find in the 8th dorsal - by outside influences, or forces. The other is a sympathetic condition. This we find floating at the 9th dorsal, the 5th and 6th dorsal, the 4th and 3rd cervical, and the lumbar and sacrum also show the affect of this condition. Now, they are deep, and are lateral, rather than of circular or bony; that at the 8th dorsal being the deeper one, and the one that causes, or has caused, by a continuation of the condition, the others along the system.

They affect the functioning of the organs through the nervous system, so that we find we have nervous indigestion at times, produced by the action of the nerves sympathetic to the functioning organs of digestion, and they affect those of the pelvic organs reflexly in the same way. Again, we have from those about the upper dorsal the effect to the larynx, and to the portions of the lungs that are involved by this condition. Now, these are the conditions as we find them in this body; the condition of the organs being reflex, rather than organic conditions in the body. By the removal of this condition along the spine, we would remove the effect that they produce throughout the organs themselves. This we would do by osteopathic force, rather than by other means, for this will reach the deep seated forces when properly applied. With this condition as we find existing at the 8th dorsal, it will be necessary to use heat applications when treating to get the proper relaxation to adjust the conditions here. Do those.
4. (Q) Mr. Cayce, does this body need any medicine at all at the present? (A) (Repeating question) If it had, we would have given it to it. Do those things that we have given here, and in the way we have given, if we would bring the proper adjustment to this body, and relieve the pressure that causes the condition throughout the system.
5. (Q) What osteopath do you recommend, Mr. Cayce? (A) (Repeating question) We don't recommend.
6. (Q) Mr. Cayce, just answer one more question for me. How long will it be necessary to have this body treated by an osteopath to get it in good shape? (A) (Repeating question) Until we adjust the conditions first along the spine, and keep the condition at the 8th dorsal so it will remain so, and not bring the condition again into the system. This affects the upper plexus, or that plexus governing the upper portion of the pneumogastric. While this adjustment that we have given is being made it will be necessary to apply heat to the body.
7. (Q) What kind of heat, Mr. Cayce? (A) (Repeating question) An osteopath will understand it if he understands his business, and uses his head. Follow the things that we have given. We are through.
8. Now, Mr. Cayce, you will forget all about this reading you have just given. You are feeling fine and all the organs of your body function properly. Now, you will wake up in two minutes just feeling fine, and free from headache. he.
