1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
2. EC: Now, we find there are abnormal conditions with this body. Many of the physical conditions as exist are of the psychological conditions, as has produced the effect as is seen, though the effect in the body at the present time is of the functional nature.
3. Now, these are conditions as we find them in this body, [4279] we are speaking of. First:
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, in this we find many of those conditions that produce troubles through the functional system, caused by poisons that have been created in the system by conditions existent in the mental forces. With the poor eliminations already existent, on account of physical conditions in portions of the system, with the combination of these poisons, these organs then became deranged in their functioning, as we shall see. Toxins then produced in the blood, with a subnormal, again an abnormal, pressure.
5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, here we find many tie-ups in various centers along the cerebrospinal system. Many of these in those ganglias that connect sympathetic and cerebrospinal system. Hence this continual condition as exists of the laggardness, the inability to function properly in the locomotaries. The arms give trouble, the upper portion of the body aching across the plexus in this region. The kidneys give distress. This a sympathetic condition in the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system. In the cerebrospinal proper, in the 10th, 11th and 12th dorsal, we find lesions that produce much of the condition in the first portion of the distresses to the liver and to the hepatic

circulation, reaching same through the juncture of the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus. Hence the distress as is seen through the right side of the body. Tendency towards constipation, and then suddenly the opposite condition, produced by the retraction as occurs in the various cycles of functioning in this condition.
6. IN THE ORGANS OF THE BODY PROPER, brain forces very good, though many of the mental faculties of the body have been misdirected in the recent months and years.
7. In the organs of the sensory system, these show the strain under which the sympathetic system has labored. Hence the distress at times with the eyes, with the nasal cavities, and the general weakness as is felt throughout the sensory system.
8. Lungs very good in their normal condition, though with the deranged blood supply these often feel full.
9. The digestion, with the trouble in hypogastric and pneumo-gastric, we often find the appetite and the digestion faulty, and with the taking of food at such times proves as poisons rather than assistance to the system.
10. Liver inactive in a normal sense.
11. Pancreas and spleen show the effect of an overtaxed nerve system. An engorgement in the spleen.
12. In the kidneys, this bearing the brunt, as it were, of the condition, and, attempting to adjust themselves, create some inflammation in the bladder, and the excess urine, or the activity of these portions of the system cause distress.
13. Then, to bring about the normal conditions for this body, first we would correct, through those of the osteopathic manipulation, those existent condtions in the dorsal and the lumbar region, with the general treatment at least once each week for the whole general system. With the relieving of these conditions, and with the corrections of the vertebra in this portion, we will find relief for the body. At least - when at least thirteen (13) such treatments have been given, take this as the properties to adjust the system, through the digestion, and through the congestion as is produced in liver and in hepatic circulation.
14. To 1 gallon of rain water, add: Sarsaparilla Root..................2 ounces, Wild Cherry Bark...................2 ounces, Yellow Dock Root...................2 ounces, Black Root.........................2 ounces, Calisaya Bark......................1 ounce, Mandrake Root.....................20 grains,

Buchu Leaves......................15 grains.
15. Reduce this by simmering (not boiling) to 1 quart. Strain while warm. Add 4 ounces of pure grain alcohol, with 3 drams Balsam of Tolu cut in it.
16. The dose will be teaspoonful 4 times each day.
17. Do not overload the system with foods while medicinal properties are being taken. More vegetables and fruits, and little of meats. No tea. Little coffee may be taken while the system is under the influence of these properties.
18. High enemas may be necessary at times to cleanse the colon.
19. When these properties have been taken, and the adjustments made, we will find the body near the normal condition within thirty to forty-four days.
20. We are through for the present.
