1. LS: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief for this body. You will describe the lump in the bowel region of this body, telling where it is located, in the colon, small intestines, or the duodenum, or peritoneum. You will answer all questions which I will ask you relative to this body.
2. EC: Now, we find the conditions in this body somewhat similar to those as we have had here before. While there are times when the condition is somewhat improved, and there are others when the whole general condition becomes exaggerated, and the system in its reaction, or those properties as accorded the system seem to, as it were, become over-exaggerated and gives distresses to the body throughout the intestinal tract.
3. The lump, or the swelled portion, the fold as is produced in the peritoneum, at and near the end of the duodenum, just above the transverse colon, shows the condition to be at the present time exaggerated in the system. This, as we see in the system, there has been given those properties that would give the incentive for the eliminations necessary to remove that tissue as is concentrated at one point, yet the pressure in the left side of the cerebrospinal column, or the nerve that extends through the system, through the action of the mesenteric system, this has not been relieved of the pressure. Hence the inability of the body to relieve by absorption the conditions. The added properties from the exterior portion of the body to assist or to soften this condition have been applied at intervals in such a manner that at times this lent assistance. At others this has been of the nature to cause more distress than help, for without this release of that through which the system would absorb this condition, this becomes sore, caked, hard in places we see.
4. Then, to assist this, we would now leave off those properties that purge the system (ragweed juice). Leave off

those properties that are being applied to soften, or the oil packs, and stimulate those centers and alleviate that pressure in the 10th and 11th dorsal that traverses this portion of the system, and apply those electrical forces as will be found in that of the electrical hand massage, and of the Alpine ray as would be applied to the spine and to the parts affected, being nearer when applied to spine, at a greater distance of at least six to ten inches farther when applied to the parts affected direct.
5. Through this means, and keeping this means, we will bring the absorption to the system. Unless this is done, we will find we will gradually create by irritation that which would become necessary to remove by operation. Under present conditions this would be detrimental for the system through mental forces, through the mind as is shown in the body, and through the condition of the blood supply and of the system in general would be detrimental. Do not do this until other conditions have been kept or carried to their fullest extent. These should be applied (these rays, these treatments) at least every day, once every day, for five to six minutes. The hand massage, or hand electrical forces as could be applied, and would be applied to this portion of the body would be at least once each day for twenty to twenty-five minutes.
6. The diet for the system should be those properties that are of easy digestion in the body. Those of the assimilating forces, supplying new blood forces, as is in green vegetable forces, with very little or no meats. None of the properties that produce weight or heaviness in intestinal tract, nor of hard digestion in the lower digestive system.
7. (Q) Should any fruits be given the body? (A) That fruit that does not carry too much acid.
8. (Q) Is the lump referred to a growth, or just a thickening of the tissue? (A) Just the thickening of the tissue at present, from obstruction of secretion from the 11th dorsal impingement.
9. (Q) Is there any obstruction in the gall bladder or liver? (A) When we have the over-stimulation at times we find the liver becomes over-stimulated. No obstruction in gall bladder or in liver.
10. (Q) How is the lymphatic circulation at the present time? (A) Too low at the present time, though there are times when it becomes excited. Little excretory forces through capillary circulation at present.
11. (Q) Has the body a rib lesion at the fifth rib on the left side?

(A) 11th dorsal, we have given.
12. We are through for the present.
