1. GC: You will answer the questions which I shall ask you regarding this body, as I ask them.
2. EC: Now, the physical conditions we find are improved from those, even from the last time we had this body here, for the assimilations are better and the conditions that produce the temperature in the system are also improved. This, as we see, is produced by the condition existing in the lacteals ducts, see? Hence the condition, when over exaggerated, produces the fermentation in intestinal tract, also causing the juices and the ducts in the upper portion of digestive system to become overcharged, causing the intestine and the duodenum indigestion. One fermentation, one inflammation, see?
3. Then, to relieve this, we would give those properties, those adjustments as we have outlined, in the diet and in the osteopathic manipulation, to cause the whole system to be relaxed, especially that along the tract of the lacteal duct region, see? Ready for questions.
4. (Q) Please examine the spine from the base of the brain to the lower end of spine and tell if there is a slight lesion in any vertebrae. (A) As has been given, the stimulation to that center in the 7th and 8th dorsal will assist in the correcting of the condition in lacteal region, see? for from this center, with those branches of the nerve plexus from the hypogastric and pneumogastric junction plexus, does the system gain its nerve reaction in lacteal region, for through same do we find that connection, see, to the hypogastric center, or that enclosing the stomach direct to brain and that of the lower portion of digestive system, or that in the region of the lacteal duct - the hypogastric center.
5. (Q) Is there an ulcer in her stomach, duodenum, small intestine or colon? (A) No. The condition, as is given, lies in the lacteal duct, in the right side, that of the mesenteric system and

of those glands from which assimilations produce blood supply in system. There the trouble. No lesion proper. Lack of the proper assimilating, or lacking vital forces to produce from the system that that keeps a normal equilibrium in this portion, see? Hence the vibration of that as is given from the hand - yes, Dr. A. C. Layne can apply same, see? - to that center, will stimulate the secretions through this portion of system and reduce this that produces any temperature, but as given, this is not an excess, for this system, under the existing condition. Just needs more fresh air, more playing out in the open, more keeping exercise over all portions of the body, so as to keep a full capillary circulation, by the exercises, see? Then not over eating, when hot, or over eating when cold.
6. (Q) Should she have any Winter-Smith's Chill and Malaria tonic? (A) No. Better if stimulation with the medicinal properties from food values than from taking of a narcotic to affect the assimilation in the blood supply. Should the parent desire the tonic for the body, we would give others than Winter- Smith's Chill and Malarial Tonic. Not necessary, though, for body at present.
7. (Q) Should she run any, or play quietly? (A) Run and play.
8. (Q) Will two osteopathic treatments a week be sufficient? (A) After the correct vibrations are set (in three to five days from the beginning, with the treatments as are given), two a week would be sufficient.
9. That is all the questions.
10. We are through for the present.
