This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 24th day of November, 1925, in accordance with request made by her mother, Mrs. [4280].

1. GC: You will answer the questions which I shall ask you regarding this body.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before, you see. The physical conditions are on the improve, even from those when we last had same here. The resistance in the system is on the increase, and the vitams [vitamins] necessary for the better assimilation are exhibiting their affects in the system. Hence the effect of food values are apparent in the general system. While the congestion has made some irritation to the reaction of mental forces of body, the replenishing of the central portions in physical are on improve. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) What is the condition of the blood at the present time? (A) This on the improve. Not as much of the drosses left in the blood stream as has been formerly. The blood count would show near the normal elements in both red and white blood. The heaviness in the circulation produced rather still by the imperfect coordination in lacteal ducts.

4. (Q) Will an electric pack over her liver, stomach and bowels help her digestion, or would a large electric blanket be better? (A) Pack over the liver and bowels, for we would with large blanket open the lymphatic and capillary circulation too much. Stimulation by the vibratory and electric forces will stimulate the excretory and secretive system and would prove beneficial, but do not use too much, using about once every three days.

5. (Q) Should she continue to take the codliver tonic, or medicine of any kind? (A) Be well to continue to take codliver tonic for at least ten to twenty-one days longer, from the 24th, see? November.

6. (Q) How many osteopathic treatments each week would be necessary for this body? (A) Two.

7. (Q) Would Hitchcock's Baby Liver Medicine help her, or any liver medicine, or does she need any liver medicine?

(A) With the proper diet, with the conditions already set, with the proper manipulations twice a week, should be sufficient. We would not use Hitchcock's Baby Liver Regulator for this body.

8. (Q) Should she have the scalded sweet milk or raw milk? (A) Scalded preferable for this body. Just come to the point where ready to boil - not boil, see?

9. (Q) Does heating the milk make it a dead food, as some baby specialists say it does? (A) No.

10. (Q) What kind of water should she drink, and should it be boiled? (A) Better that all water be boiled for children under twelve to thirteen years of age - better for this one - unless there is being taken some specific properties in mineral waters, see?

11. (Q) Should she have boiled or egg custard? (A) Small quantity very good, so long as it assimilates with system, provided those properties as are given to be taken care of in system are considered, their action with same, see? That is, do not give egg custard and potatoes of ANY character at the same time. Do not give egg custard and green vegetable forces at the same time, see?

12. (Q) Should she have butter in any form, or cheese? (A) In small quantities either are very good. Cheese preferably be cooked, or with egg.

13. (Q) Should she have dates, raw apples, canned peaches, sweet potatoes, or ripe pears? (A) Pears especially, prepared mashed, or baked, roasted or boiled and then mashed. Dates or apples, provided the Jenneting variety are used - scraped.

14. (Q) Should she eat canned peaches? (A) No.

15. (Q) Should she have grapefruit with sugar? (A) Very good. Use beet sugar.

16. (Q) Should she have nuts? (A) In small quantity.

17. (Q) Pecans, jam, jelly or candy? (A) In small quantities. Very small quantities.

18. (Q) All of these? (A) All of these.

19. (Q) Should she have any meat now, such as tender chicken, beef or turkey, or a little breakfast bacon? (A) Breakfast bacon excellent for system, provided same is well cooked. Be well if it was cooked or browned crisp inside stove or oven, see? Small quantities of chicken or wild game or turkey; not of the fat beef - in the juice, not

the meat itself, proper.

20. (Q) Should she have any turnip greens or collards? (A) No.

21. (Q) Should she have any cake in any form yet, and a biscuit occasionally? (A) Biscuit occasionally. Very, very little of any cakes.

22. (Q) Would taking the body to Arcadia, Florida, benefit same? (A) Very good for same.
