Time of Reading 3:00 P. M.

1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. (Pause). Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep, and all the organs of your body will function properly. You will hear me and answer all of my questions. You have before you this afternoon the body of [4285]; she lives 9 miles south-east of ..., Ga., by mail route, which is on the ... Road, 1 mile west from ... Route 3 on farm, owned by her father, [...]. You will find her in her room or in the hall. Please, if possible, tell me all about her condition, and what will relieve her, if possible.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, the abnormal conditions as we find them in this body has more to do with the mental condition in the body than it has to do with the physical, for the action of the mental in its expressions or manifestations through the physical has to do with the abnormal that is within the body; that is the impressions that reach the brain reaches there in such a condition that the re-action for the body to act under those impressions become hallucinations to the action of the physical forces within the body itself. They have been produced within the body from times back, and it was not the fault of this body itself, but rather that of the individual before, which has to do with the hereditary forces as we have expressed or shown in this body here. Now, these are the conditions as we find them in this body; the blood in its course through the body from a physical standpoint is very good, yet the action of the forces themselves make the impressions to the brain forces that bring the hallucinations to the body. The nerve force, and the influence as is carried by the nerve matter and forces in the body itself has to do with the white tissue as carried in the body. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

3. There are conditions along the spine that may be corrected sufficiently to give some relief to the physical expressions in the body, yet they will not totally receive sufficient impressions to make the body perfectly normal in the functioning of the brain forces themselves again. We

find at the 9th dorsal an impingement of the nerve forces there. We find at the upper end of the sacrum, or the beginning of the dorsal region, the impingement that causes all of the forces as expressed in the brain matter and forces the impressions to the body of self destructive forces, for their actions are received from the glands where reproduction is originated in the body. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

4. By the relieving of this condition at these dorsal or lumbar cervical forces. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

5. That is through the cervical, the dorsal, the lumbar and through these vertebrae regions, which would relieve this body. They will best be treated by suggestion to the body over that of the system when it is gained control of by a mind of greater strength than this, and at the first it will only be possible to gain those at periods when the body is most rational and freer of the influences as then received by the physical condition, and by the action of the mental forces that have been brought to bear over the body. It is better than it has been. This is on account of the surroundings that have been brought to bear in the body, but through that force known as hypnotic influence control may be gained that will assist the body to balance the mental forces not yet in perfect condition. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

6. But when the body is in the hypnotic state, the body should then be treated, and not in its normal state, by deep manipulation and vibration to the body itself. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

7. These we would do to bring the most relief to this body. By this mode we may gain control, or we can by operative force bring the body to a better condition; that would be by the removal of the [word(s) missing] [Fallopian tubes? Uterus?] and genital glands themselves. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

8. (Q) Mr. Cayce, the treatments that you have suggested for this body, can they be administered at home? (A) [Repeats question]

9. (Q) Or would it be better at some sanitarium? (A) [Repeats question] Wherever the one may be that may

gain control over this body. See? FEM: Yes, sir. If an operation is performed, it would be better at a sanitarium; such as we have at High Point, N.C.

10. (Q) Would an operation be necessary, Mr. Cayce? (A) [Repeats question] To gain perfect equilibrium for the body and ease and rest it would. To gain assistance for the body and ease and rest, and to rid it of the hallucinations, do as we have said. Now, we are through.
