1. EC: Now these are the conditions we find in this body, Mrs. [4296], whom we are speaking about. [No copy of earlier readings.] There has been an improvement in the body since we had it before, and some things that have gone to rack. At the present time we have abnormal conditions existing, showing through the action in the body through the functioning of the organs themselves, and notably through the actions of the gall duct, the liver and the spleen. The nerve centers that are supplied by these through the solar plexus are affected at the ninth dorsal and the right side. The digestive tract is assisted by the medicinal properties we have given into the system, but more recently there are some things not so good for this portion of the body. Too much lactic fluid is produced and too much secretion is passed through the intestines.

2. (Q) What causes a feeling of coldness and numbness in the arms at times? (A) We have this condition in the body. The liver in its functioning takes up, or uses up, at times more than one fourth of the supply of the blood in the entire body which affects the gall duct, producing inflammation of the liver. When the blood is carried to any portion of the body and just enough to other portions of the body to keep the circulation going, the action to the nerves is reflex, and this action is carried through the sympathetic nerve forces. At times in this body we find that the spleen is the disturbing force, using red blood cells acted on by the brain. In the spleen we find more dead red blood cells than in any other portion of the body. There is a cold clammy feeling along the spine from the fifth cervical to the base of the brain, causing slow, dead headaches.

To assist this body to become normal much of the same forces should be used as we have given before, except in a different way. The digestive tract, the liver and kidneys have been put in such condition by these treatments that they will act themselves. Then we would given into the system these medicinal properties which will produce equilibrium. First we would take Oil of Juniper, which will

act on the duodenum and gall duct. With this take small quantities of Sweet Spirits of Nitre, which will act on the kidneys, producing higher circulation and drawing more of the blood away from these. This will be put together in water and taken in the morning.

3. (Q) Would you mix the Oil of Juniper and Sweet Spirits of Nitre and in what proportions? (A) Sweet Spirits Nitre.............5 minims, Oil of Juniper..................2 minims, mixed in water as a carrier.

We give here other medicinal properties that will act as an alternative.

Iodide of Soda...................1 grain, Bromide of Soda..................1 grain, Bromide Potassium................2 grains.

These may be compounded or put in a carrier of water or peptotone and taken at night.

The body should not be allowed to have damp or cold evening air, but should have as much of the atmosphere as possible. The diet should be that which will go to pletoids [proteins?] without too much fat. Let the body eat what it calls for. Not stimulants should be taken, but as given through the properties above. None of these are habit forming drugs, but will produce equilibrium. We are through.
