Time of Reading 4:25 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [4299] - this we have had before. Many are the changes in the general physical forces of the developing body since last we had same here. There are some evidences of weaknesses that are apparent from former conditions. These, however, as we find, are adjusting themselves so that with the meeting of the conditions existent in the present they would receive such impetus as to make the necessary betterments in the muscular and cerebrospinal system, which formed the greater basis for the former conditions.

2. In the present, we find these are more of a specific nature, and are organic functionings. Not so much of the organ itself, as the organic functioning; though this, unless corrected, must leave its imprint in such a manner as to make for weaknesses in various portions of the system that are particularly affected by disturbances of the organ and organs involved.

3. As indicated from the nature of eliminations, by the abrasions and the tendencies for eruptions in various portions of the body, the circulation - especially as through the eliminations of the liver itself - is the basis or seat of the disorders. The natural tendencies are for the stomach disturbance, the change in the circulation, with a low fever, bilious attacks and nausea, and loss of appetite - at other periods an abnormal appetite, abnormalcy through the eliminations as related to alimentary canal, the disturbance in the hepatic circulation, an over frequency of eliminations through the kidneys at times - at others scant and highly colored urine. These show the torpidity of the liver, and a tendency for congestion in the gall duct area. Not such as to make for those sedimentary collections known as gallstones, as yet, but a sediment that is rather crusty in its nature and hard for the passage of same through the canal or ducts that supply the system. There are the

4299-2 Page 2

attendant conditions of inertia at times, dull headaches, heaviness, tingling sensations over various portions of the body, burning in the eyes. All of these are the attendant conditions of the specific disturbance in the gall duct and gall bladder area of the liver itself.

4. In meeting, then, the needs of the conditions, as we would find, this will require somewhat drastic measures, but more specifically, or particularly, that of CONSISTENCY - and followed very closely, this may be eliminated entirely and the system adjust itself to normalcy, and developments throughout the physical forces of the body brought to normalcy.

5. First we would begin as with this: Each evening, over the liver area, apply Castor Oil packs. Take a square of flannel that is three-ply, at least, in its thickness, that is at least sixteen to eighteen inches square. This we would thoroughly saturate by dipping in Castor Oil, and have the oil as hot as can be borne on the body. This should be put next to the skin. Do not attempt to put on cold and then heat with pack, or with electric pads, but rather have the oil as hot as may be from the HEATING of the oil itself; for this heating breaks the atomic forces in the oil so that it is more penetrating to the body when applied to same. This may be left on for the whole evening or night, see? One heating will be sufficient, if there will be used heavy packs that will prevent this becoming too messy, or too much losing of the effect of that obtained in the pack by the dipping and wringing out of same. This pack should cover the liver area, especially - more to the umbilicii center and then backward, see, over the right side. This should cover the area especially of the lacteal ducts, the pancrean area and the gall duct area, which lies between the two lobes - and especially toward the center, a span from the umbilicii center, up and to the right, see?

6. In the morning sponge off this area of the body with soda water, which will cleanse and also open the pores.

7. The next evening we would do the same. This we would keep up for at least eight to ten days, see?

8. On the fifth day, begin with small doses of olive oil taken internally, all the body will assimilate - but take in very small doses, three or four times each day a quarter to half a teaspoonful of pure olive oil. Should this become rancid, then reduce the quantity but continue to take same.

9. At the end of the period when the Castor Oil packs are discontinued, then take this - three doses we would take, and let a day elapse between each dose; that is, if one is taken on Wednesday, take the next on Friday evening, see? this as

4299-2 Page 3

each dose: Podophyllum.................1/4 grain, Leptandrin..................1/2 grain, Sanguinaria.................1/2 grain, Senna.......................1/2 grain. This may be put in a capsule.

10. Following this, one day later, begin with Castoria - taking very minute doses. Every fifteen minutes take fifteen drops, until a whole bottle has been taken - nine hundred drops, see?

11. During the time let the diet be rather as this, the whole period:

12. Mornings - citrous fruit; oranges, lemons or grapefruit, followed with a little rice cake or dry toast, with milk or a cereal drink. Do not use cereals, dry or cooked, during this first course.

13. Noons - rather vegetable soups, or meat soups, or a combination; but NOT a heavy diet. No sweets during this period. This meal may be also followed with buttered toast, or Zwieback, or the like - or taken with the meal.

14. Evenings - a well cooked, well balanced vegetable diet, see?

15. Then, when this course has been followed, we would altar or change the diet to such an extent as to be well balanced. Do this for the time. We will find these will clarify the system and relieve these conditions. Be consistent and be persistent. Not too much activity physical or mental during these courses, but these MUST be eliminated for the organ to function properly and prevent greater disturbance in other portions of the system; for disturbance in this area, as may be seen, may be very harmful in ANY portion of the body.

16. Ready for questions.

17. (Q) Is it advisable for the body to gain weight? (A) Let's get rid of the trouble before we begin to gain anything! except an equilibrium in the system! As has been given, when these have been followed, then we would outline what would be better as the diet to gain weight - or to gain strength, which will be necessary - for the body will be well drained when these have been followed.

18. (Q) Is anything recommended for the slight scoliosis of spine? (A) As we have given, with following these conditions here - and with the changes that will be given when these have been finished, these corrections will come for a normal condition.

19. (Q) For what vocation in life should the body prepare herself?

4299-2 Page 4

(A) Best prepare to get well first! and when we give these again we may make suggestions for what will be the difference in the outlook, when the liver is right! Let's get well first!

20. (Q) How can her father, [4297] get himself in position to give his family the necessities of life? (A) The association or connection with those of any radio activity that deals with the distribution of, or the following of that as of INSPECTION of completed sets. These, as we find, BEST may be had with those in those centers where the American Tel & Tel's association is in this business, or in Radio City - which will be a portion of that. We would go through these channels.

21. (Q) How can he get position in Radio City? (A) Best to go through those regular channels that come from or make up the activity of the attending of those conditions surrounding same.

22. We are through for the present. Copy to Mrs. [4298] " " Cayce file " " Ass'n file " " David E. Kahn
