1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief for this body.
2. EC: Now, we find there are many abnormal conditions in this body. Some are very distinct and decided in the effect as is produced in system by same. Others, or the seat and cause of condition, rather obscure, having to do with the distribution of the plasmatic rebuilding cellular forces in the system.
3. Now these are conditions as we find them in this body, [4311] we are speaking of. First:
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find deficient in many ways. Low in rebuilding forces. Slow in circulation, especially in capillary, and improper coordination, especially through the right side and in its effect as produced through the left portion of lower extremities.
5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, we find this distraught in many centers. There being in the portions of the solar plexus region some abrogation of the plexus and the distribution through the mesenteric and through the organic functioning of organs as are affected by this improper coordination, brings distresses to portions of the body, and the effect as is produced becomes very decided, while the affection, or the seat and cause is hidden in the body and has been of the long duration, so far as the bringing about the conditions as exist at the present time.
6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, we find many then in an exaggerated condition in their functioning, and these we find change from time to time as to the effect as is produced by the variation in the cycle of the system and the body attempting to create the equilibrium in the body. Hence the deflection in the nerve plexuses brings about the condition in the system, as we find through the throat, lungs, bronchials, larynx, the distorted conditions, with the atmosphere effect on the body at times, and the
4311-1 Page 2
absorption of the poisons as are not eliminated through a poor circulation, through a distorted distribution in blood supply, leaves drosses at times in all portions of the system. Hence we have an enlarged or engorged spleen, producing then the mental aberrations as come to the body as regards the condition in its own self, losing then, as it were, the hold upon self and the inability to meet the needs of the conditions as are necessary to combat against the distraughtness produced in system. Hence a low vitality throughout the whole functioning system. While the appetite of the body and the digestive system in upper portion are very good at times, still, with the over-burdening of this, we find more distraughtness brought to those portions of the body as affected by the mesenteric system. With the depressions as are produced in the lower end of the plexus, where the trouble is situated, we find the deflection then also in the lower extremities, body becoming cold at times, again swelling produced in limbs and in portions of the body.
7. Then, to bring the better conditions and the normal forces for the body, we would of necessity take care and attention and persistence, and consistent with those things that would be applied to the body.
8. We would first correct those conditions in the cerebrospinal centers throughout the dorsal and lumbar regions.
9. We would be careful more of the diet, to take those nutritious foods that with the exercises of the system will be able to be assimilated in the system, and do not over-crowd the eliminations through the whole system, producing as little inflammation through mesenteric system as is possible, through the diet, which would be then of those properties easily digested, or much pre-digested foods for the system.
10. With the taking of the corrections in the system, that we may have the correct incentives, which would be given through osteopathic or chiropractic adjustments, apply those rays as would be found in the Alpine or Rinos rays to the whole length of the spine, that we may clarify through the respiratory system, we may given the correct incentive of blood supply to become purified and give the more proper distribution of blood cellular forces throughout the system.
11. When these have been taken, adjustments and corrections osteopathically, for eight to ten treatments, given twice to three times each week, and the rays have been applied for at least sixteen times, taken every other day for five to ten minutes each, when this has brought about the change, we
4311-1 Page 3
would give from here the corrections then to be done.
12. We are through for the present.
