1. GC: You will give the physical conditions of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the further improvement of same.

2. EC: Yes, we find the body shows considerable improvement throughout the physical forces and functioning of the system. There have arisen recently some conditions from congestion wherein the shoulders and portions of the back ache from the strain produced by movement of body on congested muscles. These would be overcome by massage, and using as the massage equal parts lard (hog fat) and sulphur, especially along the spine in the region and about the region of the lungs. This will overcome the cold and congestion.

3. As soon as plausible, reasonable, remove those conditions that have been given that cause the pus and poison in the system, from the teeth. This will overcome much of that condition as has been experienced in the face, neck, and jaw, as well as also assist in the eliminations.

4. We would keep up all of those conditions as have been given that produce the greater elimination, or greater condition towards normalcy in elimination, if we would keep the body generally on the improve - for those conditions are such in the system that, with cold or congestion, the body might take that turn that would prove very detrimental. So, especially while the massage is being used of the equal parts of lard and sulphur, keep the feet dry - and keep WARM, see? for any undue draft, any undue congestion would be hard on the system under those conditions. Ready for questions.

5. (Q) What causes the hands to want to draw so, and what will take the soreness and stiffness out of them? (A) Poisons, as has been given, that are left in system produce the contraction of those centers about the brachial plexus in such a way and manner as to draw the under muscles. Hence this tendency towards that condition of arthritis and arthronical [arthritical?] condition - nerve contraction, see?

6. (Q) How soon would it be advisable to have bad teeth removed? (A) As soon as the weather is settled sufficient that the body may go, or that anyone may come to the body so that these may be taken without the danger of cold or congestion - for the mouth has been relaxed sufficient so it opens better, you see.

7. (Q) Is it Balsam of Sulphur to be used with massage, or plain sulphur? (A) Plain Sulphur and Lard - equal parts. Balsam of Sulphur a different compound - this as has been used for the body, and will be necessary again, with certain conditions arising. Not necessary, as given, unless the extreme condition of congestion should arise - that more in the locomotories than in other portions of the system. But keep those eliminations and medicinal properties, and beware of that condition for the system that overloads it by over eating.

8. We are through with this Reading.
