Time of Reading 11:20 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern War Time. San Francisco, Ca. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [4374]. As we find, there are tendencies existent regarding which precautions should be taken and corrections made; else the body will find that there may become very serious disturbances.
2. Yet if the body becomes so health-conscious or so addicted to routines for this or that, it will be just as serious as if the body did little or nothing about it except try to carry on with its work.
3. Hence there is the need for the mental body, first, to keep itself well balanced. It is well and good to consider the material things and experiences, yet these should not be put first and foremost. Just as self and the physical conditions about the body should not be considered to the exclusion of other abilities, other duties and obligations that the body has and should have, and should assume - for many.
4. Then, these are the pathological conditions as we find:
5. From the effect of intestinal flu, there has been an unbalancing of the conditions through the intestinal tract as related to the glandular system. These have caused a deficiency in the amount of the hydrochlorics necessary in the lacteal ducts.
6. Thus when there is the least cold or dampness (and sometimes the dampness is severe where the body has to carry on its endeavors) it causes the glands of throat, neck and head, and through various portions of the body - the whole of the circulation - to become overactive, or the imaginative or suggestive forces of the body become predominant and the deeper circulation suffers for same.
7. From the lack of the chemical balance, there are those tendencies through the body for toxic poisons; not in excess as yet but quite an increase. These are often divided with this body into different classes. It is one thing to be
4374-1 Page 2
affected by the toxic forces of used energies not eliminated, and another thing to be affected by the toxic forces of functionings of organs or by foods not digesting properly. Now, as indicated, we have this complication or combination, from the lack of certain elements necessary - or there is a deficiency in the elements needed for carrying on the proper assimilation.
8. Hence we have the resultant effects or tendencies towards neuritis, and symptoms towards arthritic reactions through limbs and back - especially in the small of the back. For with the cold and congestion there has been an upsetting of the organs of pelvis as related to the activity of eliminations there.
9. To correct these:
10. First, as indicated, change the general mental attitude. Adopt somebody who is a great deal less efficient than self and take care of them - as you would like them to take care of you! Do that consistently - not just outwardly - do it until you like it! For you don't like it at all in the present, but do it until you like it! so that you are their responsibility, they are your responsibility! A child, or an aged person.
11. Then begin taking hydrotherapy treatments. These should include a Dry Cabinet Sweat at least once a week, followed with good oil rubs - using Pine Oils. Have a good Pine Oil Bubble Bath following the Sweat and the Massage, and then a thorough rubdown and a brisk rub across especially the area of the diaphragm and along the spine - from the area between the ribs downward, and rub downward. Do this with heavy towels, as well as with the hands.
12. After taking at least ten of the hydrotherapy treatments (not before), begin taking ACIGEST three times each week - say Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays - a teaspoonful in a glass of raw milk at the evening meal.
13. And if these are kept up, doing the first things first (the mental attitude), we may eliminate the sources of these disturbances.
14. Ready for questions.
