1. GKN: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep, a quiet, peaceful and restful sleep. All the organs of your body will function perfectly, you will be normal in every way. You will hear me what I say and answer the questions I shall ask you, slowly and distinctly so that we may get every word. Now Mr. Cayce you are asleep and you have before you the property of the Ramapo Mfg. Co., in the town of Ramapo, Rockland Co., N.Y., also in the town of Pompton, Passaic County and Hohokus, Bergen County, N.J. We have had this property before. Now, there is a place that has been marked on this property near Tivoli Lake. Is this spot where we are to drill, Mr. Cayce?
2. EC: Yes, we have had this before. Now, we have the spot that has been marked. On the second rise south by east from the lake itself, this is the spot where oil is to be found.
3. (Q) Is that the place we marked, Mr. Cayce? (A) Yes, this is the place we have here close to the lake not far from the bush sprout. This is the place we have had before where we will find production of oil. This is the fold or knuckle pushed out or caused by the compression of the hills farther to the west, also the compression from other formations that comes from the east, across the ravine. We have some pocket or pool of oil, good quality if not drilled too close together some will be long lasting 720 to 900 ft. varies with lay of the land. The best place to drill is very close to where this has been marked. It would rather be toward the west, some 22 ft. from this little sprout.
4. (Q) In what direction? (A) We have just given this here. Read that. Formations as we will find in drilling here will be, first some 20 ft. of earth with small showings of iron or granite rock, then a rock or cap of knuckle formation that is in lateral layers, slate some 12 to 14 ft. Then a showing of sand rock with clayey formations, sprinkles of limestone, then shale and slate, then very hard formation with some water. This will be cased off between 100 and 122 ft., depends on the size and how the drilling is accomplished, formation in the way that it is used. We would suggest we use the standard rigs

open-joint bo [to?] prevent casing of which all formations pass from the water lines here. Going deeper we find some harder strata intermingling with shale, lime, gray lime, below this sand and trinity rock at 700 ft. with a showing of water just above which will not be sufficient to hinder when drilling in this exact spot. Again setting casing at 720 we will have 50 barrels per day 24 hours from formations going farther to the west, higher up the hill. These are to be used after the compression we have reducing these out. We find that some 18 to 20 wells can be used in this place, this pocket and oil we have here used that we get the better results.
South of this beyond the other lake we find some of the shale of the better grade, outcroppings of which come out in the ravines below which is approaching from the other way.
5. (Q) You say south of this beyond the other lake. Explain that, Mr. Cayce? (A) Coming directly north from this from where we have located this we cross the lake we come on from beyond we find the other lake. South of this lake we find the ravine which is standing directly across from this, would be north, then by south.
We find on this same land here the location is well into the New York side. The location of the well that is to be drilled would be on either side. There will be some dispute about this as to what state the land is in. Now we have New York state and further up to the hills some of the minerals that will be well to use and to be considered. These will be taken up at different times as we get to various ones. We find some lead and enough silver to pay for the mine. This is in New York state and tends towards the north end of the ridge or spur going into this property. The higher up we are the ravines and ridge come to the top. That is higher up, not on the lower levels but higher up. This comes in the form of granite, the heavy slate of the various formations that by the heat and compression for ages back have made into these usages here. This we will find close to the dripping waters that come up from the higher rocks. We will locate these here at various times.
