1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: We have the body here.

3. Now we find, while the body is very good in many respects, there are those conditions that cause distress throughout the physical forces of the body; for the equilibrium in the blood supply, or pressure in same, shows that there are taxations in the system that should be corrected and thus bring about those supplying forces, those normal eliminations, those normal assimilations, that would bring to the body the better physical reaction. This same pressure as produces these taxations also produces irritation to nerve centers that - with the taxing to the body - brings to portions of the system (as is seen in bronchials) those distressing reactions from same. This - the seat or the cause of same - is the lesion as is seen in the 5th and 6th dorsal center. This we find produces that reaction to the secondary cardiac plexus, that the pressure produces irritation to the nasal cavities, to the reaction of the bronchial tubes, also to the digestive system. Hence those conditions as exist throughout the mesenteric system, enlarging liver, distressing conditions in the kidneys at times - for without an equal balance between the poles of the body (liver and kidneys), one is taxed at the expense of that portion of the system. Inactivity in one brings taxation to another. Overtaxation of this brings to the system poisons and pressures throughout. This - added to the other conditions in system - brings about that undue capillary circulation for this body, [4411].

4. To overcome these conditions we would prepare first as this:

5. To one-half (1/2) gallon of rain water, add: Wild Cherry Bark............6 ounces, Horehound...................2 ounces.

6. Reduce this by simmering (not boiling) to one-half (1/2) the quantity. Strain off. Then add four (4) ounces of beet sugar, dissolved in two (2) ounces of hot water, and reduce again - by slow simmering - to the one (1) pint. Then add grain alcohol two (2) ounces, with two (2) drams Balsam of Tolu cut in same.

7. Shake well before the dose is taken, which would be half teaspoonful three (3) times each day.

8. Also we would have (while medicinal properties are being taken) corrections for the condition existent in the dorsal, the lumbar, and the cervical region - and apply just before retiring the Violet Ray to the body across the solar plexus and the brachial plexus, that we may prevent the change in circulation being carried to capillaries too much, and keep and equilibrium in the body.

9. The correction by manipulation should be given osteopathically, as we see, for - while ADJUSTMENTS are to be made also - muscular manipulation will be necessary to bring equalization to blood supply and to overcome the condition to the pulmonaries and the stomach.

10. Do that.

11. We are through for the present.
