1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you have before you the land of Mrs. [...], situated in Lauderdale Co., Ala. western part of County, Sections 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 18, 16, 17, township 2, Range 13, and you will tell us what are the possibilities in minerals, their character and where located on this land.
2. EC: Yes we have these here, you see. We have had some of these before. Now as to the mineral possibilities and the mineral deposits we find there are several kinds of minerals in these sections as given and others that join these that might be developed to make the gain from such developments. There we find iron, coal, some gold, some lead and silver. The lead and silver are in the section as given here, of seventeen (17), just in the edge of the ledge or the lead would be from this as overlooks the ravines leading to the river or the north and east side of this section. There we would find sufficient of the land to pay for the mining or run of the mineral and the silver, which would run from Ninety to One Hundred and Ten Dollars a ton in handling. This would be above the cost.
3. In the iron deposit, which we find more in section 9, to the north and east edge of this section showing in the edge of the ravine that runs northwest by southeast and on the southernmost show of this ravine. This would be only or commercial value when the manner of exportation was more feasible. This might be developed after there were ways prepared to remove other minerals from other forces farther east and south from this.
4. As for the coal, this we find in the south and west in section 3. This is very good but transportation facilities would be of some trouble of making it of commercial worth.
5. In sections 15 and 14, we would find the oil, you see, as we have had before.
6. (Q) In what section can the gold be found? (A) In the same runs as find of silver, you see. That is not of commercial use if the other is not used. Would be necessary to use with the arsenic solution in extracting the gold, so as to make the gold run, you see, which would make the commercial use too expensive to be of commercial value except run with the silver or lead. The silver and lead are

the best values on this property as given. See, Ninety to One Hundred Dollars a ton would be very good of ore run. That is above the run of lead, which valuation would probably run Nine to Fifteen Dollars a ton, which would pay for the mining of all, you see, and though it would not be extractable after first run of lead, then rerun for silver, Core method would be used in running of silver, while as to the run of gold would be by chemical method.
7. (Q) Have you anything else to say regarding the minerals on this land? (A) Might be a great deal more said, but just do these if we would make it of commercial worth. Recent flood in the lower district of the valley, have not been so far away from where we would find the entrance to the lead and silver, see. We are through.
