1. LS: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief for this body. You will give special reference to constipation and halitosis.
2. EC: Now, we find this body very good throughout, and the resistances as are set in the system are very good, yet the conditions as produce the constipation and halitosis are of such nature that shows the abnormal forces as are manifest in the system.
3. Now these are conditions as we find them in this body, [4420], we are speaking of, present in this room. First:
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find very good in many respects, yet lacking in the ability to produce the perfect eliminations through the lower portion of the system. That is, lacking the ability to supply those secretions necessary in that portion of the body that functions through the ascending, transverse and descending colon. This, as we see, comes then from specific conditions in the body. With this lack of the proper nutriment through the blood supply, we have the reverse forces in the stomach, which produces that fermentation, producing the condition in the exhalation of the breath. In the blood flow this is hindered, as we shall see. Hence the condition.
5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, in this we find the seat of the trouble, this being produced in the 7th and 8th dorsal vertebra, produced from times back when the body had a wrench to the spine, producing there the lesion that produces in the body the condition, for with this impingement the circulation becomes impaired through that portion of the system, affecting the body directly. The constitutional condition of body, the effect of this in the system, if allowed to remain, would be detrimental in many respects to the body in after years. The developing of the system at the present time prevents this from acting in that way, for we have with the condition in the organs, as we
4420-1 Page 2
will see, the ability to overcome the condition in part, yet if this is allowed to remain we would find that this would prove detrimental to the liver, kidneys, and the whole hepatic circulation, affecting later that of the pancreas in its functioning.
6. This lesion, as we find, is of the transverse nature, for the injury at the time was of such nature that this did not hinder the action or movement of the body, yet there was some intercostal pain across that portion, commencing, as we see, from the center to the left side.
7. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces very good. One very capable of developing far beyond that of the ordinary, or of the normal forces, for the mental abilities of the individual, and of the destiny as is set in that of the body itself, becoming beyond - provided there are conditions that are looked after in times that are to come - November, present year - 17th.
8. In the functioning of the organs of the sensory system, this same deflection in the dorsal region we find at times produces some irritation to the sensory organs, especially to eye. These cause the watery condition that comes of mornings. This we find is not a troublesome condition at present, yet at certain cycles this gives the body more trouble than at others.
9. In the throat, bronchials, lungs, larynx, these very good in their functioning.
10. Heart's action normal most of the time. Subnormal when there are any properties taken in system that produce the accentuation of the functioning in the digestive tract.
11. In the stomach itself proper we find there has been times,(no trace of it at present; not just at this time) where there has been produced from the over-acidity produced in the duodenum, some signs of lacerations as have been produced in the body. Hence the body has that condition in the intestinal tract from this condition there, a catarrhal form, or coming in a colitis form, through the traverse colon. These we see hinder the action of the system itself in discharge of the foeces [feces?] from the system, for the hepatic circulation becoming low through such times, the lack of secretion is produced.
12. In the liver itself, and the pancreas, we find the greatest trouble to be warned of, for with the toxins from the condition in the system being absorbed, the liver becomes the chief object of the condition. Hence with the exciting of the secretions in the system at such times, that trouble comes to the body; for the moment it is relieved, yet the trouble, or seat of the trouble, that producing the
4420-1 Page 3
condition, has not been reached.
13. In the intestinal tract, or upper intestinal digestion, we find these nerve ends reach that just from the Peyer's Gland and through the lacteal ducts. This prevents the system from the normal receiving of blood supply, cutting off that of the secretions to the intestines and preventing the normal digestion in the intestines. This also, as we see, would in time bring the destructive elements in the suppression of secretions through the pancreas. Also with a cold or low hepatic circulation, distresses to the kidney and bladder, for with improper secretions in the system, overtaxing of the kidneys themselves, sedimentary conditions are left at times in the system. Hence the test as would be found in the urine at present would be below normal, or showing that of the depression in the system.
14. Then, to remove or relieve these conditions in the body, remove that producing same. Remove by manipulation and heat those lesions in the dorsal region. Best that this be done osteopathically, provided chiropractic forces or adjustments are used to bring the proper distribution of the nerve center and trace these out osteopathically to their ends, and by taking at the time when this is being taken in the system (that is, when the manipulations are being effected) those properties that will give the proper incentive to the system to function normal. These would be found in taking every third to fifth day, five grain tablets or portions of Asafoetida.
15. Do that, and we will, by the time eight to ten treatments have been taken, and from four to five tablets have been taken, the body will be in a normal condition.
16. We are through.
