1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
2. EC: Now, we find there are, many abnormal conditions in this body. Many of these are effects rather than that producing the abnormal, so we find there has been much of the administration for the body for effects rather than for conditions. The conditions that really produced this condition of abnormality we find of a specific nature. This beginning in times back, from a condition existing in the pelvic organs. This, forming lesions in the 4th and 5th lumbar, has brought to this ganglion such an exaggerated condition as to produce, through reflexes in the plexuses that are governed by this plexus, throughout the mesenteric system, many of those conditions that produce these various strains and EFFECTS as are produced in the organs of this portion of the body.
3. Now, these are the conditions as we find them in this body, Mrs. [4426] we are speaking of.
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find super-charged, or over charged with the toxins of the system; also carrying some bacilli, as is seen in the various functionings of the organs, especially of elimination. This, then, gives to the body that condition as is produced in the kidneys, the liver.
5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this, as is seen and as given, is the seat of the trouble, and, as we see, there was in the times back, when this was first produced, that of a nerve prostration of the whole system, a general debilitation ensuing. Then, as the system was builded up to resist these conditions, we find there began this trouble through the trunk portion, or through the side - the pains, the troubles, the conditions as existed in the various parts. In this center, then, as given - lumbar region, we find the seat of trouble.

6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS, all, we see, are more or less involved in this condition.
7. Then, to bring ABOUT more normal conditions for this body will take time, will take attention, will take CAREFUL attention, and a consistent and persistent adherence to those conditions as would be outlined for the body.
8. First we would, through that of the gentle (at first) osteopathic manipulation, remove those pressures as are produced in the system, applying AFTER such treatments the Alpine or Rino rays, especially to the back, along the region from the 8th and 9th dorsal to the end of the coccyx. See? BEFORE such a treatment is given, relax this portion of the system (that is, the cerebrospinal system) with wet heat, see? packs. This, then, will give the greater relief for the body. When these have been carried out for at least three weeks, then we would give the further suggestions; for it will be necessary for medicinal properties, as well as other conditions that may arise.
