1. EC: Yes, here we have the body here. Now, the abnormal conditions as we find in this body have to do with the nervous systems and the functioning of the systems in its relationship both to the organs and the relationship between the nerve centers and the supplying cellular forces as taken to rejuvenate these from the blood force. Now, these are the conditions as we find them here, [4447], of whom we are speaking.
2. First, we find through the circulation of the blood supply forces a deficiency in the number of red blood cells as carried in the system, yet there is sufficient bacilli being carried in the blood, hence with the weak blood supply there is more heat and temperature kept in the body than should be - that is, the body tends toward rising temperature at most times, especially with the change of the cycle of the hours of the day, or at about two or three o'clock in the morning; then it is below normal. Hence the condition we have when the body attempts to rest is produced from the circulation and reaction as the nerve forces or centers attempt to gather as it were their supply of cellular forces to rebuild or carry on the conditions that they are expected to and their activity within the physical body. The body is restless at times - that is in sleep - at other times the body is dead tired before it can rest. This is the condition of the nerve forces as connected with the blood forces in the system. Coagulation is not sufficient, through the lymphatics and emunctories to give proper nutriment to all of the capillary circulation and impurities show at times to the cuticle on account of the inability of the digestive tract, either through the kidneys or liver, to eliminate properly these secretions as thrown off by the system. Heat is easily effected in the system from the condition between the nerve and nerve forces. Impurities are easily thrown out to the capillaries. This is from the inability of other portions of the body to eliminate properly throughout the system.
3. In the nervous system we find as we have given the condition as exists between the nerve forces as it takes from the system those properties needed to rebuild. The
4447-1 Page 2
body builds, or does most of its building in sleep - more in sleep than in the waking state. All portions must have rest and often times none of this body rests. The nerve centers particularly effected are those about the ninth and tenth dorsals and those about the sacrum, which makes the tiredness to the feet at times - those particularly. The others we find come reflexly to these conditions, hence we find at times when the body is warm or tired it cannot take things easily into the stomach - something makes food repulsive and the body become finicky about eating. This is only resistive force as it is thrown out in the system.
4. The action of the functioning of the organs and the connection between the spiritual and physical forces of the body are good. The body is above normal as regards its spiritual relationship with its physical forces and those about it. The spirit forces have protected the body quite often and those about it are a guard to the whole body - they are close - those that have gone on the other side stay close to them, that is one very close to them that was. The action of the brain forces are good. The lungs and clarification only at times produce, when the nervous tension has been great and there is a lack of deep breathing, heat in the body. It becomes as it were painful to the body, but no organic condition exists. The heart forces are above normal, but we have no high blood pressure or heart action that is below normal or out of a normal condition. The functioning of the organs through the digestive tract are hindered at times by the nerve forces or lack of blood supply to give the proper nutriment to all of the organs, hence the body suffers at times with the condition in the intestinal tract. This forces some of the condition or poison back.
5. First, we would cleanse the system thoroughly with plain water before any medicinal properties are taken into the system - that is take all the water in the body for three or four days that the system will absorb, so that we will have the proper distribution throughout the system when the medicinal properties are taken and they will not act indirectly to other portions of the body. The body should drink a great deal more water than it does. For four days take plenty of water in the system - no medicinal properties, but a large quantity of water so we would flush the entire system and force the action of the kidneys to all of the organs of the intestinal tract. Then we would take this into the system. This would be the dose and there should be some ten doses taken into the system:
4447-1 Page 3
Cascara..........................2 grains, Dover's Powders..................1 grain, Rhubarb..........................1 grain, Bicarbonate of soda..............1 grain.
This will be put in capsules and will only be taken in the evening, just before retiring, one a day. They will only be taken every other day. On the day that this is not taken, we will take this into the system:
Tincture of Valerian.............2 drams, Bromide of Potash................1 dram, Elixir of Calcaria [Calisaya?]...4 drams. (Not Celerina) Simple Syrup sufficient to make 4 ounces.
The dose of this would be one teaspoonful just before retiring - just opposite from the other. Let the body eat what the system calls for, but not those of highly seasoned foods or those which carry much acid. The body needs rest for about ten days also when this has begun. Do this and we will find we will eliminate the blood condition and assist the nerve forces and give the body an appetite and the body will put on some flesh and resistive forces in this body here, [4447] of whom we are speaking. We are through.
