1. EC: Yes, here we have the body here. Now the conditions as we find them here in the body of [4448] have more to do with the functioning of the organs producing the abnormal conditions in the body than organic conditions have to do with the functioning of the organs themselves. That is the action of the nerves in the body produces such conditions as to cause the functioning of organs to be deflected to such an extent as to produce improper action of these organs, or to keep them from functioning in their proper condition or state. So that these forces as given in the system from the organs themselves, carry back improper forces through the channels of the system, leaving often times much waste material to be absorbed or eliminated through channels which should not be used for this functioning. So often we find choked conditions in the organs (especially in the trunk portion of the body) to such an extent that treatment has been given to organic conditions that did not exist in the body.

2. So the seat of the trouble comes from the condition that has existed from some time back, through the nerve force being carried in improper channels. Especially do we find these in the upper lumbars, where a lesion has been formed by the condition that we find in the nerves, leading off of the spinal system or nerve force to such an extent as to disintegrate the effect of the force to carry proper functioning to the organs themselves. Hence the condition that we find in the capillaries. Also at times there is a plethoric condition in the mucous membrane, which causes the condition that we find in the lower limbs; and again nature attempting to adjust itself, throws a disturbance into the digestive organs, showing the system incapable of assimilating or taking in that which would be nutriment to any portion of the body.

3. In the blood force in the system we find the blood below normal in all of its attributes, hence there is at times a temperature produced in the system through the inability of the heart force to distribute a sufficient amount of blood force in the entire system to replenish it throughout. Hence this condition comes from an overtaxed condition in

4448-1 Page 2

these organs themselves. Yet there is not organic condition in the heart or in the pulmonaries.

4. The blood test in its showing at various times show various forms of bacillae carried back into the system. Yet again the test through the Wassam force would show the normal number of red blood corpuscles, but a deficiency in the lucrosite [leukocyte?], or white blood, to make a perfect coagulation when broken cells present themselves in the used force; this is especially so when it is the return blood to the pulmonaries, or lungs, to be clarified for the usage of the system. Though the number of red blood cells is efficient the character of the bacillae [bacilli?] showing is not of sufficient quality for all force used in the system. The hepatics then, with the temperature produced, shows the cold action of the kidneys, and the trouble that is shown at times in these organs. Yet when the high action of this force reflects, or forms more activity in the liver we have the opposite condition existing, bringing about the trouble that we have in this portion of the body; that is on the upper right hand side, producing strangulation to the ducts in the right lobes, so that the functioning of the digestive organs become taut. This is produced then from the condition of the blood forces which have become anemitized by the existing nervous tension in the body.

5. In the nervous system we find the trouble to be as we have given it here before. This produces through the solar plexus force the inability of muscular and blood channels to carry on their proper functioning, allowing the system to revert to the condition as we find it in this body, [4448] we are speaking of. This again reflects in the functioning of the littre glands [leydig?], producing through the pelvic region a reflexing of cycle force over the organs of the pelvis, such as the condition existing in this part of the body; these organs themselves being at present only inductive or reflex, rather than organic conditions in themselves.

6. The overtaxed nerve forces cause excitement, or an over activity of all the gangulars [ganglia?] connecting the cerebrospinal nerves and the sympathetic system. So to bring this body to a normal condition it would be necessary to centralize or localize the condition by producing an equilibrium in the circulation by an application of sufficiently centralized vibration along these gangulars [ganglia?] to distribute the abnormal condition sufficiently to be eliminated through the proper channels in this system. This we would do by an application of vibratory force as

4448-1 Page 3

applied in this form and manner: We would first make a vibrator to apply to the body in this way:

7. To 1 1/2 gallons of water (rain water preferred) we would add: Copper Sulphate..................1/2 pound, Willow Charcoal....................4 ounces, Zinc...............................1 dram, Sulphuric Acid.....................1 dram. In this we would place 2 pieces of steel 2 inches square, to which would be attached one copper wire to each steel piece, and these pieces of steel kept separate. These wires are then attached to a plate, and when attached to the body there must be ice in the water. The plate should be of metal and is attached first to the left ankle and to the right wrist, in the evening preferably, thirty minutes at a time, for two days; then for the next three days attached to the right ankle and the left wrist. After this has been applied to the system for six days we begin to take into the system this:

8. 15 grains chloride of gold, with 1 dram bicarbonate of soda; this is mixed in to 15 oz. of pure water. The dose will be 15 drops of this in 1/2 glass of water three times a day; and should be kept up for some several weeks.

9. Every third day a laxative should be taken, thus: To 2 grains of licorice add 2 grains of cascara and 1 grain of senna. One capsule of this is a dose.

10. Do this and we will give relief to this body and eliminate all of these forces as taken of needed to carry or bring this body to a normal condition. It will take from three to four weeks to be normal again.

11. The diet will be that of fowl, with broth made from this. Not much vegetable matter until after the first two weeks, then no meats, but as much of green vegetables as grow above the ground, none that grow under.

12. (Q) What are the causes of the enlargement on the right side of the collar bone, Mr. Cayce? (A) The enlargement is as we have given here. With the nerve force produced in the gangular and with the excess of the amount of the lymph carried over this portion of the body, and with the breaking cells, without proper coagulation, this condition is the reflex result. This enlargement will be relieved as we absorb this condition in the body.

13. (Q) Are the lungs in this body in good condition, Mr. Cayce? (A) Only in such condition as we have described. There is no organic condition that exists in itself. With the giving

4448-1 Page 4

of these conditions and treatments into the system that are to localize or bring to a head the conditions that are distributed throughout the system.
