1. EC: Now we find the abnormal conditions in this body are not those that would be called goitre, as yet. Conditions are such that without the correction may become such conditions in this body physically. That condition producing the abnormal forces in building properties, as to give way to the physical, we find produced by specific conditions in the body, which have to do with the nerve system and the blood supply in the body, [4503] we are speaking of. First:
2. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find this lacking in that vital force necessary to give the building forces for reserve energy, or fat, or flesh, in the system, while the energies of the developing entity are sufficient for its needs, yet the nerve tension under which the body develops, and the strain to which organs are put in their functioning, we see brings this tired feeling and irritation at times to the body.
3. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, we find there are many conditions in the system that are abnormal, for in the first days of this body's (present) condition were such that it has made for the present developing body conditions that need adjusting in the spinal column, or special and specific centers that need adjustment and manipulation to give centers and ganglion and tissue the incentive to function properly; thus cause assimilation in system without strain to organs and the blood supply.
4. Eliminations are very good for conditions.
5. In these centers do we find these conditions needing adjustment: second and third cervical, seventh and eighth dorsal, and all of the coccyx or the three end segments of the spinal column. The effect on the system from these conditions, or lesions in a form, some are floating, some are bony, the other is circular; in the cervical we have the circulation to the head deflected in such a manner as to produce the strain on the posterior circulation. Hence, we

find the body with the tendency to rub the face or temples on either side at times, producing an irritation also to the thyroid glands, or ductless forces supplying nutriment to the sensory system. In the lumbar and dorsals region we find the inclination to produce inertia in secretions of the intestinal tract, tendency to stoop and the shoulders give away to the feelings of the body. In the lumbar or coccyx we find that of irritation, especially to the bladder at times. This we find produces the greater trouble in this body, and with the correction and the incentive within the system to overcome these pressures we will find the body will develop normally, and free from any incentive of strangulations or of stagnation of the ductless glands of the system.
6. The organs themselves function under strain, though no organic troubles.
7. We would through vibration of osteopathic adjustments correct the conditions in the spinal column, and relieve the nerve pressure in these regions; and giving into the system properties found in this:
8. Maypop - 2 ounces to 16 ounces of water. Reduce by simmering (not boiling) to 10 ounces. Strain. Add just sufficient alcohol (1/2 ounce) to preserve with 5 minims or drops of Oil of Peppermint.
9. The dose would be half a teaspoonful in water three times each day. When the quantity is taken the adjustments will have been completed and we will find the body in the normal conditions.
10. Do that.
