1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, we find there are several different conditions contributory to those elements that cause distress in the physical forces of this body. These have to do with eliminations and assimilations, as well as the direct condition produced upon tissue and functional conditions in various portions of the body, produced first by the disturbances as brought about, as well as specific conditions from exterior forces, or produced from without.

2. In the correcting of these, then, there will be first the necessity of these conditions being met in a way and manner that, that which will be beneficial to one portion may not be derogatory to the other conditions as have been existent for the period that conditions are subject to changes in physical functionings of the system, as may be brought about, as are seen in the manner in which the body responds at times to certain changes, or TO changes, yet there continues to be troublesome forces effective in the body. These, then, must be met in a way and manner that the system may be brought into better cooperation, coordination, throughout the body, and with the INCENTIVES being set correct we may bring about those conditions that WILL bring the nearer normal function- ing of the body than has been produced by SPECIFICS in past efforts to meet the needs. While specific conditions must be met, there must be meted that which will not be a hindrance to a portion while being an assistant to other portions. These, then, are the conditions as we find them for this body:

3. Blood shows the lack of proper assimilation and of proper distribution of that assimilated; for, as seen, in various conditions as are produced in the body; as does also the nerve system.

4. In the nerve system, however, we find nearer those of specific conditions that must be changed, that the proper incentives for the organism so affected by misdirected nerve energy may be brought nearer in accord with the nominal

functioning of the system, so that when we add that to the body which will give the proper vibration in the blood supply (which is the Builder in the physical forces) we may add that necessary physical functioning for the betterment of the conditions of this body, [4532], we are speaking of.

5. In the physical functioning, or in the organs themselves, we find there - as given - specific conditions existent in the functioning, or disturbance of the organs. Little ORGANIC condition, other than functional, and these may be met by bringing about the proper according of the vibratory forces, the electronic energies of the system, as may be done in this way and manner:

6. First we would, OSTEOPATHICALLY, [have] correction of those conditions existent in the 2nd, 4th and 5th cervical, as well as that in the lumbar and sacral, especially in the coccyx - the END of the spine - this has been injured in the past and needs LOCAL attention, as well as those conditions as exist in the lumbar and sacral, and in the cervical, and natural adjustments as would come with these corrections throughout the whole LENGTH of the spine. At least sixteen to eighteen such adjustments, and equal number of general manipulation. The adjustments osteopathically should not be made all at once, but once a week the adjustment - once to twice a week the general manipulation. Taking DURING the time that this is being applied, these properties, as would be prepared in this manner:

7. To 1 gallon of rain water, add: Sarsaparilla Root.............2 ounces, Wild Cherry Bark..............2 ounces, Calisaya Bark.................1 ounce, Black Root....................2 ounces, Yellow Dock Root..............1 ounce, Burdock Root................1/2 ounce.

8. Reduce this by simmering (not boiling) to 1 quart. Then add 4 ounces grain alcohol, with 3 drams Balsam of Tolu cut in it. Adding to this solution (before being mixed with the whole) Tincture Capsici, 2 minims; Oil of Sassafras, 10 minims.

9. Shake solution together before the dose is taken. Let the dose be two teaspoonsful three times each day.

10. Beware of too much flesh as a diet. The JUICES of same may be taken; principally those, however, of the vegetable diet, and the vegetables that grow above the ground. Nuts and fruits may be taken in varied quantities to meet the needs of the digestive system, as is being disturbed in the present conditions.

11. With the changes as will be brought about by the manipulations, we will find bettered conditions being brought about. Prevent autointoxication by using enemas when necessary. Not over-straining in this direction, but rather let the manipulations and the diet correct the bowel condition. Do this, and when the full quantity of medicinal properties have been taken, we would give the corrections then from that as has been established by a coordinating of digestive and assimilating system. Do that for the present.
