Time of Reading 5:30 P. M. ..., Ohio.
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now the conditions we find in this body are from organic conditions, and the effect this produces over the system in the functioning of other organs, and in elimination, assimilation, blood supply and nerve energy used, though the condition is specific, and with the effect of the vibration necessary to relieve these conditions, we will find the other conditions will become the normal force.
2. Now these are conditions as we find in this body, [4536], we are speaking of, ..., Ohio: In the blood supply we find those bacteria carried from the effects as produced in the body by non-elimination in the liver and hepatic circulation. This produces dross in the body and is not eliminated properly through the system.
3. In the nerve forces the strain comes to the body in various forms from the condition produced in the pneumogastric centers, sympathetically, affecting the body in different ways.
4. In the functioning of the organs themselves the body is very good for the condition existing. The body has been very vital and had good deal of vitality in the body, or reserve energy. The condition through throat, larynx is produced sympathetically. The lungs, fairly good for the strain on blood and nerve system. In the digestive tract we find the seat of the trouble, for there in the cardiac end of the stomach we have a lesion, and in the pyloric end, lacerations producing the condition in the system, (when we relieve these conditions we will find the rest of the system will respond and the vital forces become nearer the normal body), the liver showing the excess of its functional condition as do the kidneys in their circulation.
5. To give the relief to this body and overcome these conditions, we would take those properties in the system that would produce healing force to the system. We would take this:
6. To one gallon of rain water, add: Common Garden Sage dried......4 ounces.

7. Reduce by simmering, not boiling, to one quart, strain, while warm, add: Ambergris....................15 grains, dissolved in Grain Alcohol.................1 ounce, add: Beet Sugar, first dissolved in just sufficient hot water to dissolve it,......4 ounces, add: Grain Alcohol.................4 ounces, with Oil of Juniper................3 drams, Sweet Spirits of Nitre.......10 minims, Cinnamon......................3 drams.
8. Shake solution well before taking each time. The dose would be desertspoonful four times each day. Do not take other stimulants, nor too much laxatives that excite secretions in the intestinal tract, but rather the laxative of the alkaline nature, Bicarbonate of Soda or Bicarbonate and Sulphite [Sulphate] of Soda.
9. Let the diet be rather of the green vegetable variety than meats; fruits, only those not too acid; stimulation, only those found in the food values and that of very strong pepper, see, not black peppers nor of highly seasoned with salt, see - leave out those properties, only that of Cayenne or red peppers; use very little salt in foods. Do that.
10. (Q) How long should this treatment be given, Mr. Cayce? (A) If diet is followed, and not strain the body in any manner in exercise, the one quantity should be sufficient to put the body in condition for the natural forces to build to normal.
11. (Q) How often should this Bicarbonate of Soda or Bicarbonate and Sulphite of Soda be taken? (A) Only when necessary for the system with the other properties taken, see. Only sufficient with the vibrations of the system to prevent the toxins from forming in the system.
12. (Q) What caused the lacerations in the pyloric end of the stomach? (A) Produced by the over-acid state of the organ and weakened [by] congestion, and the trouble settled or took hold of the body in the weakest place, you see.
13. (Q) What caused too much acid in the body? (A) Over-amount of Hydrochloric in the system.
14. (Q) What caused the lesion in the cardiac end of stomach? (A) Lack of proper secretions being thrown off or eliminated in the system, see and reflex contraction from the pneumogastrics and nature in attempting to ward against tissues defective in body.

15. (Q) Where can the grain alcohol be gotten? (A) Where the prescriptions are prepared, see.
16. (Q) What is the scientific name for this condition? (A) Lacerations in the stomach.
17. (Q) How long has this condition been existing in the body. (A) Nineteen moons since it first began with the acidity, (twenty-eight day is one moon), then with the weakening of the body by the bacilli and bacteria in the mucus membrane of the stomach, then began the trouble that produced the condition, now, you see. Do as we have given, and we will relieve this condition.
