1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [4537], present in this room. Now, in the general physical forces of the body, these we find very good in many respects. There are, however, conditions that, were these corrected in the present, would make for the better physical conditions and prevent many distresses later on.
2. These, as we find, have to do particularly with the central nervous system, and pressures as distort or prevent - dependent upon the cycle of activity - the normal forces as act in response to the impulse of the imaginative and the sympathetic nervous system; these pressures, then, being of specific nature - but do not always produce exactly the same reactions in the physical functioning of the body; for at times these function WITH the system as respecting the activities and impulses of the sensory system. At such times the sensory organs are accentuated in their activity, especially that as to that as may be termed the FEELING of the body. The body, then, SENSING even conditions that to the normal forces are not apparent to many another. Again we find repressions in the sympathetic and sensory system. At such times we find the reactions to the centers as radiate for the sensory reaction causes distress for throat, for head, for eyes, for ears, and at such periods there is an increased reaction from the reflex to the nasal, to the throat, and then a general debilitation over all the system. Following such we will find that the digestive system does not respond as well as during normal periods; rather that of an incapacitation for digestion, or for food, rather than any DEFINITE specific disorder. The repressions as we find in the cerebrospinal system are especially those in the 5th and 6th cervical, and reflexly in the 3rd and 4th dorsal. With the proper correction of these, and with the mental forces of the body kept in that attitude of an ideal; not an IDEALIST, but as of an ideal; we will find the general conditions of the system will RESPOND, and the whole

physical forces and the mental abilities of the body will expand in their near normal way and manner - [4537] we are speaking of.
3. In these corrections, these we would have made in an osteopathic manner, naturally attuning the rest of the system to same.
4. In the STUDIES, we would find that of Unity would be more in accord WITH that of the general TREND of the body than other.
5. These, as we find, will bring the nearer normal condition for the body. Ready for questions.
6. (Q) Is this condition in any way a form of epilepsy? (A) Rather the repressions as exist in the upper dorsal and the cervical region, that prevents their normal activity to the brain reactions; and, as is seen, these are most active when the body NORMALLY rests, see? Not a form even of epilepsy, for epilepsy comes either from stomach or genitive system. These are from repressions, and an injury as received in the 9th and 10th year.
7. (Q) How often should the manipulations be given? (A) As is consistent with making a normal correction of the cerebrospinal system. In the beginning they would be more often than after treatments had been administered. Salines will be found to be most beneficial in the food values. Plenty of salt, or dry salt, at such periods of contraction.
8. (Q) Should any other medicine be taken for this condition? (A) When bromides, or any of hypnotics are given for such conditions, these are only aiding at the expense of other portions of the system. The corrections should be from those pressures in the NERVOUS system, that NORMALCY may flow through nerve and blood impulse, see? Medicinal properties should only be those as keep for a normal activity of eliminations, but not as sedatives for the nerve supply.
9. (Q) Luminal should not be taken at all? (A) Only in very small doses, until the corrections are made.
10. (Q) What is the dosage that should be taken of the Luminal? (A) In the 3 to 5 grain.
11. (Q) How long can this be taken without harming the system? (A) Every dose harms the system! The CORRECTIONS made, we will find that in three to six WEEKS there will not be the
4537-1 Page 3
necessity of taking any!
12. (Q) Is Luminal habit forming? (A) Any sedative is habit forming.
13. (Q) Would you advise the body not to swim or drive a car, or drink lots of water? (A) Do not SWIM over much, though wading would be very good. DO NOT drive a car, until more sure of self. Water, internally, is HARMFUL in too large a quantity - but an even balance must be kept; for to have active forces, such as from any sedative, is detracting from the vitality, and increases the desire for that which satisfies an appetite.
14. (Q) Has fast growing had anything to do with this condition? (A) Not so much as the injury in the 9th and 10th year had to do.
15. (Q) What was this injury that produced this pressure? (A) A fall. Do as we have given, and we will bring the better conditions for this body. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n office " " Research Department Two copies to Dr. Lydic
