Time of Reading Unknown.

1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep, and all of the organs of your body will function properly; you will please hear me and answer all of my questions. You have before you the body of Mrs. [4551] now present in this room; you will give the condition of the kidneys, gall duct, liver and stomach. Give the cause of the abnormal condition in this body, and the remedy that will restore all the organs of this body to normal action and health, and the length of time necessary for the cure. Mrs. [4551], present in this room.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, we have many conditions in the body that are abnormal to this body; they have to do principally with the functioning of organs and the effect this has had over the system, in relationship to the functioning of other organs, and the effect this has produced both on the blood supply in the system and the action of the nervous force in the body.

3. Now, these are conditions as we find in the body - Mrs. [4551], we are speaking about, here present in the room.

4. The blood itself, we find, is partially anemic produced by the condition existing in the liver itself, for the action of the organ itself to supply to the body those properties needed to assist in the creating of new force in the blood itself is lacking in its functioning, for it has taken of the congestion that has been produced in the body by other conditions that have existed in the body, though at present has been relieved to a great extent.

5. So we have the effect rather than the seat of a condition to treat or to be remedied in this body, which is rather out of the ordinary conditions - see? FEM: Yes, sir.

6. The supply of red blood cells are deficient in numbers, while the number of leukocytes is sufficient for the action of the body. The action of the blood through the

pulmonaries is very good. The action of the heart force has in its usage of the blood itself, in its distribution through the system comes from the normal action of the organ itself; yet, at times, shows that it is slower than would be to other bodies, yet to this body this has become the normal condition: so we would say it has produced a sub-normal pulsation or respiration within this body.

7. The action of the nerve forces themselves over the system is very good, considering the condition we find the blood or circulation in, and the organs that are affected in their functioning.

8. The brain force itself is well in this body.

9. The action between the cerebrospinal nervous system as a whole, and the action of the sympathetic nervous system, is well balanced in this body.

10. The action of the sensory nervous force only becomes negative at times, when the circulation is depressed the most, or the body suffers from the condition through the intestinal tract, and we have a sub-normal pulse. Then we have roarings in the head, bad taste or dizziness to the head and the effects to this portion of the body, you see? FEM: Yes, sir.

11. These do not occur at all times in the body, but become apparent in the recurrence or the reaction from the disturbance in the digestive tract, and the action or functioning of the organs themselves.

12. In the functioning of the organs we find the distressed condition as exists through the digestive force, that is, in the intestinal tract, through the functioning of the organ, the liver, itself, as we have given; for we find the liver rather inclined to be of a hardened condition, as existing in the body, rather than that of a full or plethoric condition, as would sometimes exist in organs with the condition existing in the body as here.

13. There is not a sufficient supply under this condition to this system of the gall from the gall duct itself, though organic effect in the gall duct itself is not here you see? FEM: Yes, sir.

14. Though we have the reflection in its action on the pancrean forces and juices, as they are secreted, to act in the intestinal force or to act on the foods as taken into the system.

15. Most of the poisons as gathered in the circulation come from the functioning of the liver rather than from that of the kidneys themselves. Though the distressed condition

4551-1 Page 3

that exists through the kidneys at times is from reflex forces, as is shown in the action of the hepatic circulation; for this circulation produces all along the right side, at times, pains - distressing pains, as it were, from the upper end of the stomach down the side and across to the abdomen here, you see? FEM: Yes, sir.

16. The conditions as exist through the intestinal tract itself, we find,is reflexes from this condition, as we have given, in the liver and the action of the gall forces and the pancrean juices as taken into the system to act on the blood supply that is needed for the body.

17. To bring about an equilibrium within this body and to produce within the body those properties that are necessary to bring a balance of force in the body, we would take this into the system:

18. First - These medicine properties to produce the proper reaction and revibratory forces for the pancrean force, and the liver and gall forces, themselves, and to create stimulation to the mucus force as created in this part of the body; then, we would give that which would become a stimulating force to the blood and to the organs themselves, to become normal in their functioning.

19. First: We would take ten doses of medicine properties as prepared in this manner: Senna...................1 grain, Cascara Segrada.........1 grain, Licorice Compound.......1 grain, Yellow Saffron..........2 grains. This will be put in capsules; one dose or one capsule would be taken every other day till this full amount is taken.

20. Then, we would prepare a tonic for the body, in this: Black Haw Bark..........2 ounces, Dog Wood Bark...........2 ounces, Prickly Ash Bark........2 ounces, Yellow Dock Root........2 ounces, Elder Flower............4 ounces. This would be put in one gallon of water, rain water, reduced by simmering, not boiling, to one quart: Strain, and while still warm add to this four ounces of sugar, with four ounces of grain alcohol, and three drams of balsam of tolu - this would be all put together, you see?

4551-1 Page 4

FEM: Yes, sir.

21. The dose would be a tablespoonful four times a day. This is not to be taken till after the medicine properties have been well cared for in the system, or that is after five or six doses have been taken, see? FEM: Yes, sir.

22. Do that. We will find we will bring this body here, Mrs. [4551], to its normal activity and force. We are thro'.

23. Now, Mr. Cayce, you will forget all about this reading you have given. You are feeling all right and all the organs of your body will function properly. You are feeling good. Now, wake up in two minutes, just feeling fine and all right.
