1. JTM: Pay special attention to the right ear and prescribe a treatment that will cure.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now we find this body is very good throughout. There are some abnormal conditions. They have to do with the nervous system, the functioning of the organs of the nervous system as controlled through the sensory organism. We have some conditions through other portions of the body that have become a functional condition.

3. Now, these are conditions as we find in this body, Miss [4553], we are speaking of here in this room: The blood supply through the system is very good, save it carries some bacilli that at times make the functioning of the eliminating system rather clogged. These are produced in the emunctories in the liver itself, see, so that elimination through the circulation proper does not always take place as thoroughly as it should, hence at times there comes to the capillary circulation those portions to be eliminated that should be carried through the hepatics.

4. The nervous system, we find is very good. The body is rather inclined to be of a nervous temperament, yet well controlled of the body unless under an over sympathetic condition. The sympathetic nervous system of the body is above the normal in its acuteness. The nerve forces through the action of the secondary cardiac plexus and the sensory system have produced the taxation to the eliminating forces in the circulation toward the head until we have the lack of elimination through this portion of the body to such an extent as to cause the incoordination of forces in the ear proper, so that the sounds come against the drum itself to where the nerve proper separates same as a buzzing or a roaring, see, so that the secretions in the conti [cochlea] itself give or throw off to such an extent as to make the local condition, see. This, then, becomes aggravated by the circulation coming to the capillary and produces this excess of secretion, this being the weaker factor receives the greater distress, see. The other organs of the sensory organism are very good. There are some times that these

suffer in accord with the condition of the ear, you see. There are conditions then that must be corrected in the general system to give the proper forces to the body and produce elimination, see.

5. In the functioning of the organs themselves in this body we find as a general condition, very good, save as we have given through the hepatic circulation. This we find at times, the functioning of the liver, especially, that of the emunctories in their eliminating forces, give the overtaxed condition, so as to leave some dross in the system to be eliminated through improper channels and gives to the system that which has produced much of the condition, see.

6. To give the correct vibration to the system, to relieve the condition in this body, Miss [4553], we are speaking of, we would give that in the system as medicinal properties that which would relieve the condition, see, then give local forces to affected parts here, you see, right ear especially - wouldn't hurt to use same in both ears - take this into the system as a tonic to correct the forces through the digestive tract and make the proper eliminations in the body:

7. To one gallon of rain water, add: Wild Cherry Bark..............4 ounces, Black Haw Bark................2 ounces, Dog Wood Bark.................1 ounce, Elder Flower..................1 ounce.

8. Reduce by simmering, not boiling, to one quart, strain, while warm add 4 ounces of grain alcohol with 3 drams of Balsam of Tolu. The dose would be teaspoonful four times each day before meals and before retiring. Be sure and eat the meals (you see this body doesn't do it all the time).

9. For the local condition, every third day we would drop one drop of St. Jacob's Oil in the ear, you see.

10. The exercise for the body will be for the head, neck and shoulders. Be rather persistent in that, you see, and that only - just the head, neck and shoulders, see, circle, side. Do that. Miss [4553].

11. (Q) Mr. Cayce, will this treatment bring her hearing back to her? (A) Hasn't all gone yet, but will bring it back, you see.

12. (Q) Mr. Cayce, Miss [4553] thinks she cannot hear at all in her right ear. (A) She can. She does not discern or separate the sounds, you see. Do as we have given. Follow these closely and persistently with the exercise and of the local treatment with the general forces for, the system. Keep these, we

will find the relief of the body. We are through.
