Time of Reading 3:10 P. M. ..., Miss.
1. LBC: You have before you Mr. [4554] ..., Miss. I want you to go over him carefully, examine him thoroughly, and tell us what is the matter with him.
2. EC: In this body here of [4554] we have a lack of the eliminating powers in the liver and kidneys. We had at first, in times a way back, the condition existing through the trouble in the intestines and stomach, but the trouble was aggravated by the condition of the humor existing in the system from the condition of the sexual organs themselves, producing then the action on the generatory system, or through the kidneys, the lack of power to eliminate the impure properties that should pass off through the urine. The backing of this into the hepatic circulation, and thrown back by the liver and to the liver in its attempt to eliminate it from the system before being carried back into the blood produced the gorged condition through the right side and an atrophied condition through the left lobe of the liver; hence, we have at times a lack of the proper fluid being eliminated from these, which shows itself in the lymphatic circulation through the cellular force thrown out in the form of pus, or we produce a water on the liver and around the fatty portions of the kidneys. The action of the nerve force from this condition produces more or less the same condition through the pelvis, shown in the locomotory action of the body, or the lack of power in picking up the feet one above the other in walking.
3. (Q) Any other conditions? (A) We have plenty of reflex conditions from these. We have the actions of the forces in the lack of blood in the system; a lack of leukocytes, or the eliminating power of these being taken through the lymphatic circulation, shown in the texture of the skin and through the forces of the action on the spleen, or the development to the action of the brain itself through the nervous system. The action at times of the sedatives that have been taken show through this condition onto the heart itself. No organic troubles in this exists from the action of the liver and kidneys themselves.
4. (Q) Any trouble with the lungs?
4554-1 Page 2
(A) The strained condition that we have from the action of the air onto the blood in the lungs, or the condition of the blood that is passed into the lung only produces an opening of the cells. No trouble in the lungs themselves at all.
5. (Q) What is the condition of the pancreas? (A) The pancreas acts on the digestion passing from the stomach by the action of the pancreatic juice, and the reaction from the liver in this condition, of course, is liable to become engorged.
6. (Q) What treatment would you prescribe to relieve these conditions and bring the body back to a normal condition? (A) Diet, and the action of electrical forces to the system as sedative instead of the forces we use. Improve the condition of the body through manipulation of the lower limbs, or from the 6th and 9th dorsal to the lower end of the spine, especially, to remove all the lesions that have formed along and across the lumbars and to the nervous centers along the spine, and relax to a unison between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal systems to allow the eliminating of properties through the proper channel.
The diet should be of things not pertaining to fatty portions of cereals or vegetable, but of meat of the proper sort, cooked right, of iron and calciums or carbons in the system; not of the protein or fat.
The electric force should be of positive force, or current.
The manipulation should be especially applied to the lumbars and pelvis. Keep the intestinal tract as thoroughly full and relaxed with water, and by the hands themselves. The electric force should be applied, of course, to the centers of the nerve and muscular contractions, and to the liver, and to the spine, from the solar plexus, celiac and secondary cardiac.
7. (Q) Any other treatment? (A) Do this and he will get better than he is now.
