Time of Reading Tutwiler Hotel, 8:00 (?) P. M. Birmingham, Alabama.

1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. (Pause) Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep, and all of the organs of your body will function properly. You will please hear me and answer all of my questions. You have tonight before you the body of [4595], and the body is present in this room. Now, Mr. Cayce, tell me the physical and mental ailments that you find within this body that you have before you, and if an operation is necessary please tell me, and, if not, tell me what will relieve the condition that you find within this body which you have before you.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, these are conditions as we find in this body: We begin here with the head. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

3. Through the action of the nerve forces over the system produced by the action of blood forces as they are forced or carried along the whole length of the circulatory system, we find there is at the fourth dorsal vertebra a leakage, as it were, of the lymphatic blood circulation, that is, to the blood circulation from the lymphatic forces that produce at times the condition that affects the whole cerebrospinal nervous system. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

4. And produce to the whole circulation in the nervous system the condition that arises to be carried by these channels of circulation throughout the whole system, producing even to the extremities the lack of vital force to carry on the actions of the muscular forces in the system. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

5. The whole system becomes below the normal action of all its functioning powers, yet no organ itself becomes particularly involved save in slowing of the action of the whole system, everything becoming, as it were, drugged into its dormant condition of becoming to the separation of the action of cerebrospinal forces as is the seat of the

4595-1 Page 2

physical and the action of the sympathetic forces which is the seat of all of the soul and spirit forces. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

6. These are the conditions that present themselves to this body. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

7. The action of all functioning organs becomes impaired, the blood supply as we find within the system carrying not a bacill[us] that is affected from the condition, yet we find the action in the walls of the arterial forces themselves producing the condition in these distributing forces throughout the system; that is, it is carried there by the leakage, as it were, of the lymphatic forces to the blood supplying system. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

8. This we find is at the fourth dorsal - the ganglion - lying to the left side of this ganglion as it infolds between the vertebra here, you see? FEM: Yes, sir.

9. To relieve these conditions, we must produce proper coagulating force within the action of the lymphatic circulation and to the nervous force give the reactive force necessary to carry the correct equilibrium between the the cerebrospinal to the sympathetic forces. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

10. So we would give into the system that which gives vitality to the lymphatic forces and adds to the lymph in its coagulating potency. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

11. We would give this then into the system: Gold - fifteen grains of chloride of gold to fifteen ounces of water, to which there is added one grain of bromide of soda. The dose would be ten drops to a half glass of water. This will be given into the system thirty minutes before the body would be treated with the ultra-violet rays from the first cervical to the ninth dorsal; no farther below. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

12. For we must get the reaction of the metallic forces within the emunctory circulation to produce to the lymph and to the blood forces those necessary to produce the proper

4595-1 Page 3

coagulation within this blood supply and lymphatic supplying force. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

13. Those of the ultra violet ray are those as we have through the static force of electrical forces and reach to a very high voltage, not as those as we find from current of direct or alternating, but of static force. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

14. Or of X-ray force, as would be received from static machine force. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

15. This would be given to the system twice each day. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

16. For a period of one cycle of the action, nervous forces, as compared to the vibration between cerebrospinal and sympathetic forces that is reached in forty-eight days, see? FEM: Yes, sir.

17. Of the time as counted here on this plane.

18. Do that.

19. (Q) Mr. Cayce, how does this trouble affect this body, and in what manner? (A) (EC repeating the question in undertone) We have just given it.

20. (Q) Mr. Cayce, the treatment that you have given here for this body, will it cure the body? (A) The treatment we have given is to correct the condition and make the body normal, which it will if followed here as given.

21. (Q) Mr. Cayce, can the treatment prescribed for this body be had in Birmingham, or will the body have to go to some other place? (A) We have the gold, we have the soda; we have the static forces, here in Birmingham. Apply those to this body here - [4595], present in this room, just as we have given.

22. We are through.

23. Now, Mr. Cayce, you will forget all about this reading that you have given. You are feeling fine and all right, and all of the organs of your body will function properly. You are feeling good. Now, wake up in two minutes just feeling fine and all right.
