1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. (Pause) Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep, and all the organs of your body will function properly. You will hear me and answer all of my questions. You have before you this morning the body of Mrs. [4601], Birmingham, Alabama. Now, Mr. Cayce, I want you to go over this body that you have before you from head to foot, and examine the body carefully, and tell me of any ailments or disorders that you may find within this body, and then tell me what will relieve or cure the body of the conditions that you find. Mrs. [4601], ... Avenue, Birmingham, Alabama.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, the abnormal conditions as we find them in this body have to do with the emunctory and lymphatic circulation, as it affects the joints and marrow, as it were, especially of the extremities, and of the action of the locomotory of this body. Now, these are the conditions as we find them in this body, Mrs. [4601], we are speaking of. The blood circulation we find by the action through the blood supply does not partake or give off to the system through the lymphatics that element as needed to give the proper incentives to the muscular action, especially toward the extremities, for with the action of the emunctories and lymphatic circulation in portions of the body we find this, - that is this condition that gives off to the body - those elements needed to give the proper incentives to this portion of the body are hindered in their action, for the blood does not absorb or take into the system a sufficient quantity to give off to this portion of the body. Through the action of the white blood forces is this action principally carried on. See?
FEM: Yes, sir.
3. The hemoglobin within the body, its supply is fairly normal under the conditions in the body. The action of the nervous system in the body we find the cerebrospinal nervous system functioning normally, so far as the action of

the brain forces function itself, yet in some of the ends of the nerves, or nerve centers, especially those in contact with, or in connection with, or in accord with the solar plexus centers, have become as it were ineffective in their functioning, hence the muscular forces as governed by this hinder the perfect operation of their ends toward the action of the locomotory centers. This we find especially through the lower end, and with the sympathetic and pneumogastric center near the brachial plexus does it affect this portion of the body. See?
FEM: Yes, sir.
4. These, as we find, are reflexes and pick up sympathetically the condition in the body, so that their reaction then causes the contraction, or the inability of the body to function normally through the action of nerves that govern the muscular forces or the extremities. The circulation - that is blood supply - is not wholly cut off from this portion of the body by this condition, yet is impaired in its action through the system. The functioning organs themselves we find only through the upper portion, - that is of the head and neck - are their reflexes that act directly from this condition existing in the lymphatic and emunctory circulation. Through the lung forces themselves the action is very good. Through the digestive tract, or the stomach itself in particular, we find the body in its capacity to handle or function from those foods as taken into the system of a fairly normal force, yet there are certain properties - that is such as those that digestion takes place after it has passed to the lower end of the stomach, that does not act or set well with this body; for they in their action produce conditions through the hepatic circulation that become hard to combat, which affects the liver in its functioning and the kidneys in their activity. The absorption of poisons in the system from intestinal conditions first brought about much of the condition, for with the blood attempting to eliminate, through natural means, the condition, the attack begun on this portion, producing the necessary elements to act with the locomotory circulation, or action on the system, both from centers and from muscular action, to the joints and portions feeding those parts of the body. To assist, or to give a renewing of the necessary elements in the body, to bring a normal functioning of the body throughout, would be to give those properties that would rebuild or rejuvenate these centers, and that would act on all of the glands to affect more secretions in the system necessary to supply the functioning

organs to all parts of the system, and with those create a vibration properly attuned to those of the body. We would find this in these; each third day we would give radium water in this system, and chloride of gold in the system, with soda, just before treatment was given to the body, - that is the extremities especially, and along the upper dorsal and cervical region, with violet ray, which is to produce heat and vibration to the system. The gold would be 15 grains chloride of gold, to 15 ounces of water, with 8 grains of bicarbonate of soda. A dose would be 8 drops in half a glass of water 30 minutes before the violet ray treatment for 3 to 4 minutes over this portion of the body. The third day take the radium water here you see?
FEM: Yes, sir.
5. Do that, and we will assist in bringing a new reaction within this body. The diet at times while this treatment is being given to this body should not be of meats, or those that are hard to digest, especially through the intestinal tract, for we must not make a violent reaction to the intestinal tract throughout. Do that.
6. (Q) Mr. Cayce, this violet ray treatment; how often should it be given? (A) (Repeating question) Each day.
7. (Q) For how long a period? (A) (Repeating question) Until we begin to have the reaction in the system and begin the use of the body throughout, you see.
FEM: Yes, sir.
For we must give the reaction to the emunctory and lymphatic circulation, and they must be gathered from the gland forces and elements in the system. The radium water we will find is made of compounded so that each vial contains one dose. Manufactured in Pittsburgh, Penn., Radium Therapeutics. We are through.
8. Now, Mr. Cayce, you will forget all about this reading you have just given. You are feeling all right and all the organs of your body function properly. You have described the patient correctly.
