1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, the abnormal conditions as we find in this body have to do with the nervous system and are rather of a psychological condition, and the effect this has produced on the physical body and carries with it some physical conditions that have become abnormal to this body when to other bodies it might be a normal condition, see, for the body, with or through some of the conditions is above the normal body.
2. Now, these are the physical conditions as we find them in this body: Through the blood supplying force we find the blood has a tendency toward being over-charged with those elements thrown into the circulation by fear and produces in the system rather a debilitated condition over the whole body without making a specific organic condition, as far as the organs through which the circulation passes as a definite or specific condition there, see. The number of red blood cells are lower than normal, for the body produced by the functioning, more than ordinarily of those conditions that destroy the red blood cells, hence we have an enlarged spleen.
3. In the nervous system, we find as this; the brain forces in this body are good. The tendency is toward those things that have to do with the higher forces in nature or in this plane. The action of the nervous system has brought much of the physical conditions within the body, but its action over the whole system and the action on certain centers and what it has produced there, specifically. The centers that govern the sensory organism of the body have become that which has produced the condition within the body and affects specifically the throat and the vocal chords, specifically. The fear has as much to do with the conditions as has the physical condition existing and was produced first by this fear, which came from a condition in some weeks or months past, see. Now, we have many portions of the system that reflexly are effected by this nervous condition. At times it shows to those nerves governing the digestive forces and produces an overtaxed condition there, again with this reaction the hepatic circulation becomes involved and the

effect is to give an abnormal condition throughout the intestinal tract. With this, there is at times, (now not always is this) produced a strain to the body that produces headaches in portions of the head and produces pains to the eyes at times.
4. Through the functioning of the organs themselves we find the organs as organs themselves function normally, save as they are acted upon by the sympathetic condition in the system, as we have given here, you see. The sympathetic nervous system with the cerebrospinal nervous system at their junction here in the second and third cervical produce or carry to the over-sensitive forces to the throat, that producing the condition we have there. In this we see the inferior muscles of the vocal chords become the ones that suffer under the strain, not to the point that they do not vibrate, but for the body to have them, that is, the vocal chords to vibrate under its, the body's, mind's volition, it becomes abnormal to this body, and to other bodies it might not, you see.
5. To give the relief necessary to bring the normal effect to this mind and to this body would be through those of specific reasoning or suggestion to the mind, that of which it already knows to control self, and by that, to the body, that is, the condition through the throat and larynx, through the tonsils, through the upper portions of the trachea, which will remove the extra secretions as are thrown off by these portions of the system that we would use or for that we would use an alkaline antiseptic, see, and in evenings wrap about the throat and upper portions of the body cold cloths and cover those immediately, that is, after the body has taken an exercise for the head and neck and arms, see. We would do that if we would bring the normal conditions again. It rests with the individual to bring to its physical self much of the return of proper coordination between the nervous system, and the condition existing in this body, [4610].
6. (Q) Mr. Cayce, what would be the proper exercise for this body of the head and shoulders? (A) Those that would exercise the muscles of the throat, of the neck and of the shoulders, you see, the turning of the head to either side, back and forward and the exercise of the arms to strengthen or to bring the flow of blood to the portion of the body, then the application, as it were, to drive all the blood back with the flow when it returns to produce elimination to those forces that produce congestion, when the action of the physical body is brought into play, see.

7. (Q) How much time, Mr. Cayce, would be required for this body to have its voice return, with these treatments followed? (A) Until the body overcomes those of fear, you see, and the conditions that are filled or removed, which will be as fast as they are thrown out of the system as these lines of suggestions are followed. We are through.
