1. GC: You will have before you the entity, [4652], present in this room, his enquiring mind, his business associations, and you will answer the questions I will ask you.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, the entity, the associations and relations of the body, [4652]. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) ... Inc., business competitors are submitting a proposition to buy out ... Factory or to buy an interest in same. Which is best proposition for ...? (A) When the consideration of conditions as have to do with the distribution of the product of each, the combined effort would offer for each the better proposition - especially under existent and coming conditions in the manufacture and distribution of the product; for in the variations of the conditions, to sell wholly is to lose an interest in that as HAS meant and does mean, and WILL mean more in the entity's affairs than seen from the purely outside influence. To change in a portion is to make added strength, provided there is kept that same manner of the policies as held by ... - which is that as is as much desired as is the product and the distribution centers.

4. (Q) Is there any connection between Vassas Freres offer to Malnick & Cutru and the offer to ...? (A) No, there is only an inference - not any direct connection. This may come later ON, for a direct connection - but would only add to the strength of the whole situation.

5. (Q) If necessary, what proposition should ... offer as counter proposition? (A) As we find, the proposition as is offered ... would be better than a counter proposition, unless there is taken into consideration an offer or an association with one of the other concerns, see?

6. (Q) Should [4652] remain with new management? (A) He should.

7. (Q) What compensation and contract should he suggest? (A) That as is commensurate with the quantity, quality, and

the character of the OUTPUT and the association, or - as is the present, or has been the present drawing account from the concern as running - it should equal to, or be five percent more than that as has existed. That gives the basis, see?

8. (Q) Would ... be better off as an independent concern? (A) Be better, as we find, as the combination - than as independant. This, as is seen, is a day of combinations; not as to reduce so much the character OF the output, but the overhead and the distribution of same.

9. (Q) Should [4652] advise his partners ... St., to sell their business to Vassas Freres of Marseilles, France & New York? (A) As we find, the combination of same would only make for the better product, the better distribution, and a most satisfactory condition to all concerned.

10. (Q) If so, on what terms and basis? (A) This necessarily must be worked out, preferably in accord with conditions and the surroundings of each. Those that are selling and those that are buying may work out an equitable and an agreeable arrangement, better than being set from here.

11. (Q) If sale goes through between ... and Vassas Freres, what settlement should ... make with the buyer for [4652]'s next year's supply of Briar Root? (A) This, as has already been confined to a distribution as is controlled by ... - it should be on a basis as commensurate with the quantity and quality of the Briar as is delivered, and should be kept intact; for those who have made the contract FOR the delivery of same, see?

12. (Q) What arrangement for future supply? (A) That may be made as an individual or as a cooperative measure.

13. (Q) Are the [4652]'s competitors who are Pipe manufacturers getting lower prices or confidential conditions other than outlined in the general contract that will be submitted to all manufacturers by Vassas Freres? (A) The combines will bring out the variations as have existed in the various centers that have made little underhanded conditions, but as stands in the present - these have been making concessions, and will be brought out in the general contract.

14. (Q) If contract is not the same, in which respect is it different? (A) Contract the same; merely CONCESSIONS have been made, see?

15. (Q) Advise [4652] what to be careful of in order that he may be guided to his best interest in reference to his Briar Wood Supply?

(A) These, as has been given - in the supply, this may be kept as a special interest, and supplying same to the combination - or it may be made a cooperative measure. As to those things to be mindful of, these kept in much the manner as HAS been the policy of [4652] as concerning those furnishing same, will hold and will keep things in the same way and manner; for the concessions - or those interests shown and given - those who have supplied same - have kept same FROM being delivered, even to others - when there has been made offers of an advance and of various concessions made for a change; yet [4652] may keep these as personal or as cooperative.

16. (Q) Will [4652]'s partner, ... Ave., ... Long Island, recover from present illness? (A) This we have not here.

17. (Q) What shall [4652] do to get rid of rheumatic pains in left arm and other parts of body? (A) Use those of Toris Compound, and any indications as come from same would be the eliminations of poisons through the colon, or of colonic irrigations.

18. (Q) Will this ailment lead to serious consequences? (A) Not if eliminated.

19. (Q) Should ... Inc., sell out? (A) As has been given, better would be the combination - than the selling outright; and the reasons for same are many, as may be seen in the interests of [4652] as respecting the product from which the manufacturer needs the supply, as also interests as are held by [4652] in various conditions and positions as will lead for a BETTER condition than the whole selling without strings or combinations - see?

20. (Q) Any advice to the body along any line? (A) Keep much in the manner of policies as respecting business associations, and also as to mental and spiritual aspects of life. We are through. Copy to Self " " Ass'n office (2 copies)
