1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here.
3. Now we find with the physical conditions of this body, while there are many conditions that are very good, there are those that give distress at times, and with the correction of these would prevent troubles further along, and would give better physical reaction for the body at the present.
4. These are the conditions as we find them with this body at the present, [4660] we are speaking of:
5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find very good in some respects. The quality very good. The quantity not normal, and the reaction of same below that of the normal. Hence we find there is poor assimilation in the system, and there is the form of nerve digestion, or nervous digestion, that at times causes some distress to the body throughout the mesenteric system. This is the cause of the nervousness and the inability to rest well at all times, and the cause also of the body's feeling tired after rest when it should feel re-invigorated, and the tendency of the body toward constipation is from this poor assimilation and overtaxation to the hepatic circulation. Kidneys and liver both showing some disturbances and not normally functioning on account of overcharge in the system.
6. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM PROPER, we find there are very good reactions from most of the nerve system, save in the coordination between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal, produced by this same nervous indigestion, or poor assimilation, which brings irritation to these nerve centers - which is shown, in the reaction of the sympathetic nerve system, in the sensory organism. The eyes, the ears, the nose, the throat, the feet, at times cause some distress, from this same condition.

7. The general functioning of the ORGANS OF THE BODY, save as the disturbances are shown in the elimination, or that of the excretory and secretive functioning, very good. These in the excretory and secreting - that is, that work together, as in liver and in kidneys - these show the effect of these disturbances. Hence, as given, the necessity of correction at the present time, that disturbances further along may not be so severe, and that the reflections, or reflex actions from the system, may be brought nearer to the normal conditions, see?
8. Now, to meet the needs of the conditions at the present, first we would take those properties internally that would produce the normal reaction through the stimulation of the excretory system, without producing too much irritation to any of the glands or the tissue of the excretory system, other than an excess without irritation. Taking, then, these properties: Prepare two quantities of Toris Compound - one with simple syrup, the other with spirits frumenti. Take a tablespoonful of each, each day. One in the morning with the spirits frumenti. One in the evening with the simple syrup.
9. When half the quantity of each has been taken, use the cold showers and a rub down very briskly along the whole length of the spine, see? Take these every morning, beginning only after half the quantity is taken - using after same (that is, after the cold showers and rub down) the stimulation of the Violet Ray over the cerebrospinal system, for ten to fifteen minutes. We will find by the time the second quantity of the two is taken, the body will be near to normal.
10. Do that, [4660].
11. We are through for the present.
