1. LBC: You have before you [4684] of Rochester, Ind. He is before you now, you will see him. Go over him carefully, examine him thoroughly, and tell us what is the matter with him if anything.
2. EC: You see we have in the body here, or the unit, of [4684], many things that are abnormal, from a well condition of the human body. That is, we have functions, organs of the body, that are used to an extent until they have become worn, and weakened and incapable of performing the duties and properties as normal well defined functions in normal man would. But we have only some two or three conditions in the body of [4684] that are abnormal from the condition of the body as in its present state. The physical body of the man is weakened to a condition of laxness, or looseness of the organism of the systems of the body, as we have through the circulation, through the nerve force, and the muscular force especially in the system. In the organism of the system, we find most of the trouble with the action of the kidneys, or their discharge from the body, or from the secretions that are secreted by them in their discharge. The inflammation here through the bladder, neck of the bladder here, and the kidneys have become so overtaxed and weakened by the extra amount of matter eliminated through those, until it has become so. The kidney is made up of cells inside, the same as we have all organs in the system. We have the center hollow here, with its cells out from either side, (There are two in the body) that secrete from the circulation as it passes through these glands, that which should be eliminated from the system, in the water, especially of stimulations and poisonous matter, through the red and white blood as it is carried through the system. These, then, have produced a condition, until we have aconite (?) in the urine, forming itself and showing in the water passing from it, and as we strengthen these conditions, then we strengthen the condition we have along the lumbars, and we have an organ that has become inflamed and over-used. We have the same effect through the sympathetics or nerve supply to the same organs. In their turn, in their stimulation to other parts of the body, they

come in contact with them, producing the same effect through these as we have through the pelvis, hips, and groins in the body, through the celiac ganglia. Also some through the digestion in the system, produced by the inflammation. The ganglia here come in contact with the lower end of the intestinal tract and the nerve supplies to these. Inflammation, excitement and aggravation to these produced the same amount of stimulation to the circulation passed through these parts of the body.
3. To remove these troubles from the body, and leave the body in a normal and better condition than we have it, take into the system here - 1/2 ounce of rectified oil of turp, or white pine, or essence of white pine; 1/2 ounce of oil of juniper; 1/2 ounce sweet spirits of nitre, all mixed together. A dose would be, from four to ten drops, once or twice a day. That depends on the condition of the stomach, as to how it can contain these particles.
4. A stimulation for the digestion tract of sage made into tea, sweetened to taste, with cinnamon and gin - a pint of tea, 1 1/2 ounces of sugar, and stick cinnamon, that is cleansed, and 2 1/2 ounces of gin. You see the active principle, same as we have in that of the tar - juniper tar in this, so if we produce a sickening to the stomach, through the stimulation to the intestinal tract, we reduce the quantity, or number of drops. We find the body will become improved and cleared of this blood through the rectum as passed. You see we have a laxness of these folds in the intestinal tract here in the lower end, until we produce hemorrhoids there, high up to the second valve. This laxness to the intestinal tract will remove the quantity of the material that is producing the inflammation that causes the flow of blood to it, same as produce to the kidneys here the lack of these. When produced to act, as you see we have the active principle to the gin and to the juniper tar, an active principle to the kidneys, causing them to secrete to the system, while we have the turpentine producing a healing balm to these, with the same action from that, or a sedative to these by the sage. If the soreness increases here from the rectum, along here, we might reduce by ointment from the exterior by that made of the grease of milk of the cow, without salt, pulverized, cleansed, and what you call tobacco - Indian mullein - cleansed - not strong but soaked in water, washed, dried and pulverized, and mixed with this; more of the grease than we have of the other though, or it will produce too much inflammation.
5. The body will be better and be able to get on its feet and move about. Do away with some of this nervousness to

the body, tottering. Keep plenty of pleasant things to the eye and mind at all times. Gentleness to the whole body, and at times the baths here, of hot water - sitz baths, you see, producing stimulation alternating from hot to cold, or [4684]. ].
