Time of Reading 12:10 to 12:30 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. ..., Michigan. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we find the body here, [4715].
2. Now, as we find, there are many conditions that are disturbing the general physical functioning of the body. These in some respects may be termed the attempt of the body to adjust itself to the varying conditions through which, and under which, glands and organs fail to supply the necessary elements for resuscitation in all directions; so that, while there will be days or periods when the body is much bettered, there continues to be stages or sieges of relapse, with other conditions presenting themselves that would indicate other disorders than from that in which the applications had been given.
3. Then, as we find, to get or to give the basis or the cause would require almost a history of the conditions that first produced them.
4. In the present, however, it would be well to supply that to meet the needs in the existent conditions, and this (history) may be given as the conditions begin to adjust themselves, and the functioning system calls on the organisms for sustenance and supply that will bring resuscitation to the system; for these have as their basis those elements that became as destructive forces to glands that supplied nutriment to the balancing in the equilibrium, as well as in the activity of the metabolism and katabolism of the system.
5. Then, in meeting the needs in the present, as we would find, these elements in the system would supply that which would make for the proper basis for resuscitations:
6. First, we would begin with a quarter grain of the carbon ash, that would be taken dry, though washed down with water in the system; and thirty minutes after taking apply the ultra-violet ray to those bases of the cardiac superficial plexus and secondary cardiac and cardiac area, or from the dorsal to the lower portion of the spine - or from the cervical to the 9th and 10th dorsal area, see? This we

would give every third day.
7. We would begin immediately also with the Atomidine, five to eight minims given twice each day.
8. On the second dose of the ash we would begin with a thorough massage, more in the form of the NEUROPATHIC massage, beginning in the central portion of the body and working TO the extremities, rather than beginning in the extremities and working to the central portion.
9. After the ninth day prepare this compound, as an active force with the general system:
10. To 1/2 gallon of rain or distilled water, add in the order given - but have all IN the water when the preparation is begun: Wild Cherry Bark........1 ounce, Sarsaparilla Root.......1 ounce, Yellow Dock Root......1/2 ounce, Burdock Root..........1/2 ounce, Prickly Ash Bark......1/2 ounce. Reduce this by simmering or slow boiling to 1/2 the quantity. Strain off, and while warm add:
11. Cut 2 drams Balsam of Tolu in 3 ounces of pure grain alcohol. To this add Tincture of Stillingia 20 minims, Tincture of Capsici 5 minims, and then add to the first solution.
12. Shake together before taking, and the dose would be half a teaspoonful 4 times each day.
13. In the matter of the diet, be mindful that the foods taken are especially of the pre-digested nature; especially those that give stamina and strength to the body; such as:
14. Quantities of beef juice; not broth, but just the juice - given in very small quantities and rather often, to give strength to the body.
15. Malted milks, dry milks, arrowroot and the like.
16. These will give strength, tone, vitality to the assimilating system, WITH the properties that are being given through first the Ash and then the Atomidine.
17. We are ready for questions.
18. We are through for the present. Copy to Husband, Special Delivery, c/o Mr. [277] " " David E. Kahn " " File
