Time of Reading 10:00 A. M. Birmingham, Ala.

1. (?): You are now asleep and will be able to tell us what we want to know. You have before you Mrs. [4727], ... St., Birmingham, Ala.

2. EC: Mrs. [4727], ... St., Birmingham, Ala.

3. (?): Yes, she is before you now, you will see her.

4. EC: Mrs. [4727], yes we have her here. We have had her before.

5. (?): Alright. Now I want you to go over her carefully, examine her thoroughly and tell us how she is now.

6. EC: Not much difference; we have a little change from what we had before but not much. The whole condition here through the cervical region, through the lumbar and through the dorsal is much the same.

7. We have at the second and third cervical lesions from the affectations here below, a tightening of the muscles, the nerve supply of the blood here to the head and we have the same here at the fifth dorsal and then at the sixth and seventh dorsal. The fifth is from reflex from what we have had below but the sixth and seventh is caused from the cardiac end of the stomach, at the duodenum. The discharge of the juices has produced an impact to the lower part; in the lumbar from reflex, caused from the inflammation gathering in there from the discharge of the lower intestines. Got same effect we have had before.

8. The rest of the whole system, the whole nervous system since we have had the change is not much different, not much difference in the nerve supply of the system. The body is better, we have some little difference in the nerve supply, but that is just becoming changed. The body is weaker, not in nerve supply, not in forces or energy but in the body itself but not the nerve supply of forces or the circulation of the blood.

9. The nerve and blood and muscle and nerve tissue supply along laterally to the whole system. We have a giving out or weakening of the body organs, the nerve forces or circulation of the system. Increase but not to stimulate through the nerve supply these forces along the spine here; remove the lesions; remove this trouble from the intestinal tract; remove this discharge from below. We have the body

improved; the body is strong through the mind, her will is strong and has kept the condition of the whole system as we have had it before, you see?

10. (Q) Do you see any special cause for the nervous trouble? (A) Relaxation of the system from the power or mind here. We have to the nervous system, is the supply of the whole system all over the body, through the sensory system, through the nerve supply that carries everything to the brain. If we shatter these nerve forces by overstimuation or a successive sedativeness then we overtax the nerve system, that reduces this to the system, at times, a high strung; again, it is weak, abnormal from the normal body. Then we have here a stupid, low condition; that is not normal, not herself. When we have it high strung that is not like she has been. The condition we have had here is not through the nerve forces but from overstimulation, - sedative - to the nerve forces. This has produced an overtaxation to the nerve forces. We do not want into the stomach here an over-excessiveness. Into the system an emitting from the intestinal tract, lower part of the stomach - this squill here will produce an emitting up or down and we want the body or what we take into the stomach to be of itself. The stomach is weaker until we got this out; won't want much to eat with the squill in it.

11. (Q) Is that squib or squill? (A) SQUILL.

12. (Q) What about the diet? (A) Won't want it with the squill in it. We have had an overtaxation of the stomach. Take into the stomach what is wanted; but do not overload the stomach. Not an excess of anything, not an over-starchy nor over meat; something easily digested. We have through this system here Mrs. [4727], ... St., Birmingham, ala. Now we have here when we remove these forces from the intestinal tract, we want to use to relax these forces an electrical force; not an overstimulation and DO NOT use both at once. To stimulate the sixth and seventh dorsal we would overstimulate the cardiac end of the stomach and we would produce a palpitation of the heart. Stimulate the spinal cord, not with the forces of the system inside, or we will have an overstimulation and produce a palpitation of the

heart and we would have an excessive circulation and produce trouble from the intestinal tract where it is thrown out from the liver to the lower part of the stomach. To have juices to the liver; excretes through the liver an impact in the lower intestine has produced an acid state in the stomach here. If we produce an overstimulation to the cardiac end of the plexus we will have a choking up and discharge from the rectum as well as to the cardiac end of the plexus. We need to act on the stomach in itself. The stomach of the body is the medicine house of the whole system and it produces into the system the carbon, calcium, lithium and distributes it through the circulation; as we choke it up it produces then this condition we have here, the overtaxed strain on the nerve supply. Suggest to this body that it is stronger, better. It has its influence to the body through the will power itself. Use it with discretion and do not overtax any part; we have an overtaxed condition now. Remove this.

13. (Q) Will manipulation do this? (A) Electricity is better than manipulation. We will have manipulation if they need it, but not now. In using manipulation they use the bone to relieve this. If we produce a sourness, an overtaxation, we will overstimulate the nerve forces through the muscles and tissues and produce a contracting of the nerve force. We stimulate the nerve supply and leave the muscle supply as it were.
