Time of Reading 10:30 A. M.
1. (?): You are now asleep and you will be able to tell us what we want to know. You have before you Mrs. [4727] ... St., Birmingham, Ala.
2. EC: ... St., Birmingham, Ala.
3. (?): Yes, she is before you now, you will see her.
4. EC: Mrs. [4727] ... St., Birmingham, Ala. We have had her before.
5. (?): Yes. Well I want you to go over her carefully and examine it thoroughly and tell us what her conditions is now.
6. EC: Some better than it was before.
7. (?): Well, tell us what her condition is now, at present.
8. EC: Have not made much impression on the mind though; she still feels sick. The condition as we have now - we have both, from the condition existing from the treatment and also, the condition existing from the abnormal conditions in the system of the body in itself of Mrs. [4727].
9. We have the trouble existing from the intestinal tract, in the lower end of the stomach; the action of the juices of the stomach from the pancreas and from the juices of the stomach itself, from the digestion. We have the digestion, or part of it - all Sugars and Starches, Meats and Carbons in the lower part. The digestion of the Sugar - is not digested in the intestinal tract, carried on through and the action of the medicinal properties still allows the digestion to carry on through and to leave on acid state by acting on - by the juices in the intestinal tract carrying the medicine on through, which ought to have been digested up here; should have been thrown to the upper end of the stomach and produced a digestion instead of down here.
10. It comes into the stomach from the upper end, passed into the stomach and acted on by the gastric juices of the stomach; it is dissolved here, acting with the saliva here in the mouth, by the peptone action; passes on and is acted on by the juices in the duodenum from the pancreas juices. Rest should pass into the lactic state into the intestinal tract by being acted on by the juices here; as we have had

it here, we have left some of the acid state until we still have from the blood supply or nerve forces in the system, reacting on the same system as we had before. We have both forces - it is acting but not enough from the impression of the nerve force; it is strong, self-will is strong. Have to overcome the feeling of sickness - the nausea - when we have the reflexes in the stomach we still have the effect of the pulse, producing the same condition into the system as we have had before, allowing her to lie weak and dormant - the whole condition.
11. We need to keep it here into the stomach until it is digested to act on the new forces. Not so much that is taken in to be acted on but to use for the rebuilding in itself. Electrical force on this side to recuperate the forces in the nerve force - assimilation, you see, through the medicinal properties in the stomach has created into the stomach enough of passing out. We had but a gathering of matter in the end of the stomach, a balling-up thrown around from the mucous gathered from the saliva or acting on up and producing the condition or balling-up in the stomach - the acting of the medicinal properties, they cut up and passes into the intestinal tract still, with the same force but not as much as we had before - not enough to produce the condition we had before with the same acid state and we had before; more throwing off with the urine, more pains along the spine and hips; reflexes in the head, just around in the system.
12. (Q) What treatment would you prescribe? (A) Treatment good but keep back more. We had here the action of the medicinal properties here in the stomach (externally); they are not on the inside, you see? What has been given into the stomach acted on these forces to pass them on out, acting on the liver. Produces the same - throws off, to be carried out and assimilated, to be used for better properties in the blood to rebuild the system. Keep this back up here in the stomach or to be thrown out from the outside until it has produced enough to pass into the system. Do not keep it like it is.
13. (Q) How is that to be done? (A) Do not force so much down there. Electrical force will assist; make more impression to the mind - make her feel better; make more impression to the mind, make her feel better, do not feel weak. Bathe the hands and temples, at times and talk to her, brighten it up for her. We have the forces very good, keep the forces up; better into the stomach until they are ready to pass into the tract

and into the blood. Force passes around through the system very rapidly.
14. (Q) Any other treatment you would prescribe? (A) Should have more electrical force along here. We have here, you see, the electrical force to the system in itself, supplies to the nerve force. The pains at the solar plexus nerve centers, at the eighth and ninth dorsal from the action of the stomach in itself - sixth and seventh, fifth and sixth, fourth and fifth - is all from the nerve supplying to the stomach; this soreness of the system with the electrical forces along here will relieve the condition of the nerve forces to be used to make the impression on the mind. Make it stronger but not overstimulate it to supply, as it were, all the forces used up by the action of the chemical action on the stomach in itself. We need to equalize the forces in the system, it has produced the condition we have had here in this body here of Mrs. [4727].
15. (Q) Anything else you would prescribe? Anything else to be taken into the stomach to relieve the conditions? (A) Nothing more than we have had. Diminishing the juices - produce saliva and juices to the stomach - grinding of the matter taken in. Nothing more than what we have had here.
16. (Q) What would you give her to make her sleep and rest? (A) Electrical force and rubbing of the body, make her rest. Affect the nerve forces by the smoothing with the hands - do not have to work up or knead the body; rubbing of the head, rubbing of the spine, shoulders and lower limbs. Begin to rub on the body, begin to hurt in different places. Rub them all. Affects the body better than the medicinal properties. Have to be reacted on by nature to throw out; get them out of the system.
