1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
2. EC: Now, we find there are many abnormal conditions for this body. These may be assisted to bring about more normal conditions in the body and thereby produce the more normal condition in the system. These conditions have to do with specific conditions as have existed in the system and with the effect as has been produced in the functioning of organs in the body, then the more effect of organic conditions are existent.
3. Now these are those conditions as we find them in the body. First:
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find above the normal in pressure, yet below the normal in the supplying of that necessary to produce an equilibrium in the functioning of system and to rebuilt and repair the usages of the system in its functioning, for much is the drosses left in various portions. Hence the pains, the distresses in joint, in various portions, by inflammation, swelling and pain produced in various portions of the body.
5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, in various centers in this do we find the seat, or that as has produced the condition in times back, that has brought about or produced that in the system which at this time gives the causes of the distress in various portions of system. Then, in special centers do we find those impingements that has produced, and does produce, much of the condition, though the system has set about many places that this shows, that as would be called lesions as the present time. These, specifically, are seen in the 3rd and 4th lumbar, this more special. Those in the 8th and 9th dorsal reflexly produced. Those in the brachial plexus, which affect the upper portion and the heart's action, indirectly (which as slowed up through the secondary

cardiac plexus and its connection). In the 6th and 7th dorsal that as with the cardiac direct.
6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, these we find are under the stresses of these conditions produced, and with the disturbed functioning of system, organic conditions, as given, have set up in various portions of the body, some to that degree wherein distresses are, with the age, with the condition, shows the ravages in these, in their inability to perform a normal condition; yet, as given, these may all be assisted in this way and manner:
7. First, then, to bring about this assistance for the body, we would take as this in the system: Fluid Extract Yellow Dock Root..........1/2 ounce, Fluid Extract Burdock Root..............1/2 ounce, Fluid Extract Stillingia................1/2 ounce, Fluid Extract Polk Root..................20 minims, Elixia Calisaya.........................1/2 ounce, Tincture Valerian........................20 minims, Tincture Capsici..........................1 minim, Oil of Pepperment.........................4 minims. To this add sufficient Simple Syrup to make 12 ounces.
8. Shake solution well together. The dose will be half a teaspoonful four times each day.
9. When at least half of this 12 ounces has been taken, begin with that of the OSTEOPATHIC adjustments for those conditions in the cerebrospinal centers and system, as given, continuing with the medicinal properties, as has been outlined, keeping the intestinal tract open, see? Though the medicinal properties should act on the system, the diet or activities of the system may prevent same, see? Then using, to keep this in this way, the high enemas, even though oil in enema may become necessary - for should it, use same, see?
10. When at least thirteen such treatments, osteopathically, have been given, see, then the condition should have reached that where it would be necessary for further changes for the full or complete correction of conditions in this body, [4739].
11. We are through for the present.
