Time of Reading 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.C. (Body & enquiring mind - Physical, Mental and Spiritual, with suggestions for improvement - Questions regarding body and its welfare)

1. EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, [4742], present in this room.

2. In the physical forces of the body, these we find very good in many respects. There are those conditions, both of the mental and the physical nature, that - working one WITH another, or one AGAINST another - at times brings, or prevents the conditions in the physical forces of assuming, or making the proper corrections for the better or the perfect functioning of the physical organisms. These, as we find, have much to do with the nerve system, especially as seen in such conditions in the SYMPATHETIC nervous system, so that the actions of the mental BODY often PREVENT, through the sympathetic system, the proper functioning of portions of system, that WOULD - WITH the corrections being made - make for a nearer normalcy. This, as we find, is ESPECIALLY so in those centers (which fail to respond to those applications) in the upper dorsal, which affect SECONDARILY those of the cervical TO the SENSORY organism, as to the SENSORY forces of the system. Also these SAME sympathetically affect those of the organs of the DIGESTIVE system, and SECONDARILY in those of the hepatic circulation.

3. In making these corrections, in the making of the adjustments for such conditions, we will find that - will we add those vibrations to the system as will be received in the digestive system, in the nervous system, in the organisms OF the body as to their functioning, those in this - they will prevent, when taken properly, and taken consistently, those effects of a low temperature, of a giving away of the body as respecting the whole sympathetic system, as of those conditions that become as of a hysterical nature WITHIN at times.

4. Add, then, as this - and IN this manner, PREPARING in

4742-1 Page 2

this way: To 4 ounces of simple syrup, add: Tincture of Stillingia..................1/4 ounce, (and add in this manner, in this rote or rotation) Elixir Calisaya.........................1/2 ounce, Tincture of Valerian....................1/2 ounce, 10% solution Bromide of Potassium........40 minims, 10% solution Iodide of Potassium.........20 minims, Tincture of Capsici.......................2 minims, Oil of Sassafras..........................5 minims. Shake this together before the dose is taken, which will be half a teaspoonful in a glass of water, or half a glass of water, three to four times each day. Take OFTENER when necessary, but keeping the MIND balanced as to those things acting upon the system properly, it won't be necessary! Do not take too close to meals - about nine o'clock of a morning, two to three o'clock in the afternoon when resting, and just before retiring - we will have little trouble in the normal sleep. This will aid in digestive forces, in assimilation, prevent that nervous reaction, that tendency to WORRY so much, and will ENABLE the CORRECTIVE forces to make their proper reactions in system.

5. In the mental forces of the body, WORRIMENT as we find - is both a PHYSICAL and a MENTAL attribute of the body; that is, when one has worriments mentally, of a nature as AGGRAVATE physical conditions, SOME have termed same as neurotic conditions, and most ANY FORM of disorder may be a result. In such reactions for the mental forces of the body, it will be well that an individual apply themselves in doing for those that are not as fortunate as themselves (though you pity yourself a good deal!), that others may not do FOR themselves - see? busying one's self; not being a BUSYBODY, but being a busy body in AIDING someone to get an understanding of their problems, no matter of what their nature, and that will aid in meeting thine own in the very best way and manner. Ready for questions.

6. (Q) Have adjustments and manipulations been given correctly to the body by Dr. Brenner? (A) We didn't find fault with 'em, did we? In the manipulations, as has been given, these adjustments - these manipulations - are working properly with those conditions, and - as has been seen by the body - these are the locations, as we have given, in this upper dorsal region here, and sympathetically to the others, where these have been necessary, but these coming directly with these of the sympathetic nerve system in their reflex action IN the

lumbar and in the cervical, WITH the worriments - which comes from the MENTAL reactions of the body - preventing the body from HOLDING that it gains; for there are days when it feels WELL, and STRONG, and then of a sudden it gives away. THAT'S the body! That's why these vibrations and changes in the DIGESTIVE system, in the nerve energy as will be supplied - for these are the forces as given, see? In Stillingia, we will find as a diarrheic (?) [diuretic?] for the digestive forces of the body (in a quantity which will be told you is very little, or not much dose but this we want as the IMPULSE, NOT an active force; for the active FORCES will be created by the manipulations and the adjustments!). In those of the Valerian, we find as a nerve stimuli, NOT a hypnotic, nor is it a sedative, but acts AS a nerve stimuli to the system, especially to the sympathetic nerve system. In those of the Calisaya, we find as a stimuli to the circulation, a cleansing, a giving of strength to those of the nerves that govern the circulation as related to the red blood supply. In those of the Potash, Iodide and others, we find one works (the Iodide) with that of the menstrual forces of the system, as to the wastes portions of the nervous reactions, while the BROMIDE AS a sedative IN a mild way becomes a stimuli rather than a sedative, see? As in the Capsici, a stimuli to the digestive system, and ESPECIALLY to that portion in the lacteal ducts which makes for the distribution of that as is ASSIMILATED by the body; as does the Oil of Sassafras give not only a palatable effect to the bitterness (for it will be bitter!) but acts ALSO as a pepsin to the gastric juices of the stomach itself, working WITH the rest of those as are combined - see? The MANIPULATIONS are good; these are given to aid in creating that impression or reaction as is desired BY the body MAKING the adjustments and manipulations.

7. (Q) Where is my financial support coming from? (A) Trust in those forces as HAVE provided same heretofore, not in thine own self. Know that those things as come through the various activities will be so as to meet that as is necessary for the carrying on.

8. (Q) What kind of work should I do, and where will I find it? (A) The outline as given as that which would be well for the body, would be well for the body to consider all the way through. This, as we would find, would come under those of social service, or in those activities as make for the care of individuals as companions with or for individuals, or in some channel of work in that nature. The body would make an

excellent companion for someone travelling.

9. (Q) Where and with whom will I make my home? (A) Find the body that needs you, and you need them! This may be done through those regular channels where one adapts themselves for such activities.

10. (Q) What action should I take against my husband, [...] of ..., N.C., who has started a divorce suit of false charges? (A) Disregard them and go on with thine own business!

11. (Q) Is Julian Allsbrook of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., the right lawyer to handle this case? (A) He's very good, but we don't need any. Just let it go on. Don't be bothered with somebody that doesn't want to be bothered with you! but go on and do something for those whom the body will make happy, be happy with - and do something for someone else! Don't run away from things, but meet 'em as they arise from day to day!

12. (Q) Any other advice that will be of help at this time? (A) Follow these - this will be a whole heart full for a day or two! but you can adjust yourself to these various conditions. Go in this with that sincerity as has PROMPTED the seeking, and AS this is used and applied, that way will open. Knowing that with all thy trials, all those conditions that have arisen in the life, there is only ONE source. First be true to thine self, and thou cannot be false to thine God or to thy fellow man!
