1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell em the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
2. EC: Now, we find there are many abnormal conditions with this body, and there are many of the conditions that are aggravated at the present time. These have to do with the functioning of the organs, also of specific conditions as are existent in the system, for we find there have been those outside conditions that have brought much of the trouble, and the conditions as exist are complications as arise from same.
3. Then, these are the conditions as we find them in this body, [4743] we are speaking of. First:
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find below the normal in the rebuilding properties, not only on account of the quantity, also the quality, for there is carried in same that which produces a temperature, and many of the complications are produced by this condition, involving then the functioning of organs through this high temperature, caused by this condition.
5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this, being allayed in many ways, prevents the system from gaining as much as it should from the assimilation of conditions as are given, or as have been given to the system, for the recuperative forces in same.
6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces, when normal, very good. Very low in responding at the present time, through the condition as is produced by the subjugation of the cerebrospinal nerve system. Reacting, then, more through the sympathetics.
7. In the throat, bronchials and larynx, much inflammation is produced by the condition of the blood, also by the conditions as have been in the lungs and in the upper portion of the body, by those conditions caused there; though not an organic condition of the lungs or throat.

8. In the digestive system, this again we find disturbed by the inability of the plexuses of the hypogastric and pneumogastric to coordinate in their functioning. Hence the poor assimilation as is seen through the properties as taken in the system.
9. In the liver, the hepatic circulation, these all show the effect of the strain and of the inflammation as is created by the temperature, and by the inability of the organs to function under the strain. Hence we have had condition of improvement when temperature lowest. Very low when this is high.
10. The kidneys, being overtaxed, have reached that stage where the distresses to this portion of the system has almost become organic, for the capsules themselves show deterioration in their ability to function. Hence the pain, the distresses as caused through these portions of the system.
11. Then, to give the more normal condition, and to bring about that which would give to the system the recuperative forces, first we must, by degrees, leave off the subjugation so much of the nervous system, and induce same to respond through natural means to give the correct incentives for the functioning of the organs. Also stimulate the blood stream by the addition of those elements in system that will reduce the temperature and aid in giving resistance to the hemoglobin in its rebuilding, and the leukocyte increase that is to form. Give body, as it were, to hemoglobin, see? and give the ABILITY of blood to create more leukocyte to resist in the system. This would be accomplished, then, by giving small doses as in this manner:
12. Begin with the compound of Hydrastis, and of those properties in a weakened tea, or a weak tea made from Saffron, see? as in these quantities:
13. To 6 ounces of distilled water add 1 dram of Hydrastis, see? Let this steep for 5 to 20 minutes, depending upon the temperature, of course, to which it is raised. Strain. Set this aside, see?
14. Then we would add to 8 ounces distilled water, 1 ounce of the Saffron, see? Let this steep, or simmer, for 15 to 20 minutes. Strain. Set this aside, see?
15. Alternate the dose every half to an hour. Give teaspoonful of this in half a glass of water, see? See, we are adding then water and this to the system every half hour, see?
16. Add to the blood resistance by the use of the Rino or Alpine rays, along the whole length of the spine, see? When this has been kept up for 6 to 7 days, begin with the

manipulation of the spinal system (cerebrospinal system), especially in those of the cervical and lumbar region, see? gentle massage and gentle adjustment.
17. Then we would give, from here, the conditions to be followed, after this is given 10 days, with other properties.
18. We are through, then, for the present.
