Time of Reading Unknown.

1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. (Pause) Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep, and all of the organs of your body will function properly. You will hear me and answer all of my questions. You have this afternoon before you the body of Mrs. [4744]. Now, Mr. Cayce tell me the physical and mental ailments that you find within this body that you have before you, and if an operation is necessary please tell me, and if not, tell me what will relieve the condition within this body that you have before you. Also, Mr. Cayce, tell me whether or not she has a tumor on the brain.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, these are rather serious conditions we have in this body. Many of the organs of the body are involved and functioning thereof, as well as the nervous system, the locomotories being affected and the action of all of the plexus, especially along those of the left side, you see? FEM: Yes, sir.

3. Because those that affect the left side of this body. Now, these are conditions as we find in this body here: The blood supplying force in the system has become very much overtaxed in attempting to meet and combat with the condition that exists throughout the system. The action of the white blood forces to meet the resistance within the body has produced a condition which borders on to that of a plethoric action of all of the emunctory forces in the system, for they supply the action of the forces, you see, to that and this portion of the blood itself. The number of the red blood forces to meet and combat with the condition that would rebuild and replenish the used forces in the system has become almost dormant in the system, so that we find the body does not respond or assimilate properly those things that would add and build. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

4. Not produced altogether from the condition in the blood, but the condition in the blood from the condition existing

4744-1 Page 2

in the body, you see, through the function of organs that have become affected by the action of nervous forces in the system, and those that would produce or cause the action of the functioning of the organ itself. In the nervous system we find the condition that becomes expressive to the forces within the body. The whole length of the pneumogastric nerve center and the force it has given both to the brain force and to the action of the organs that are governed either reflexly or directly by the action of this nerve center has become impaired in their functioning, as we find the brain forces here do not respond to all of the incentives either through the sensory forces or through the applications of outside forces to reach those of the functioning of the brain itself, you see. FEM: Yes, sir.

5. Those as are reached through the action as should be assimilated by the stomach or that should give off to the system those that would respond to the action of the system or the assimilating, does not respond in its entirety, so that it has to be picked up or taken by the action of the blood system or of the emunctory forces, so that that would bring to the body any ease to the body, must be assimilated through these forces. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

6. For we have a congestion of the pneumogastric force about the body, you see, here. FEM: Yes, sir.

7. We do not have a tumor in the brain from this force itself, but a deadening of the action of this nerve so as to cause this non-use of a portion of the body it affects, especially those along the left side of the body, as we have given, attacking the plexus governing the locomotaries here, those all along this left side of the body, you see. FEM: Yes, sir.

8. Not as we would have of a purely suppressed or impinioned nerve, to produce paralysis, as would be termed, in the body, but that which brings non-activity to the muscular forces governing the action of those portions of the body. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

9. The function of the organs through the digestive tract throughout the whole system we find here in response or are receptive to the condition as given here, or acts through

4744-1 Page 3

nerve force itself. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

10. This will be hard to reach. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

11. Or to bring to the body those outside influences or forces that would give this relief to its full entirety to the physical forces in the body; yet we may give that in the system that will produce an allaying of the condition and eventually, by the work outside and by material force and by spiritual force, use those which will assist this body. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

12. Mrs. [4744] we are speaking of, ..., Alabama. We must have reaction and produce a vibration that will awaken the condition as we have at the solar plexus center, if we would get into the system that which will bring the assisting forces to produce an equilibrium through this body, we would apply at the ninth dorsal those of a combination of forces that would bring heat and a reaction of the force, so as to bring off from the body those poisons that affect the plexus center here. We would apply first warm apple vinegar. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

13. To the whole body, and rub in well all along this left side, even over the sciatic nerve, to which some portion is affecting along this side, you see. FEM: Yes, sir.

14. Then we would apply heat force; this is to drive this into the system. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

15. That would give off to it a re-vibration and produce reaction within this body. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

16. Then we would give within the system those properties that will cause an elimination of the conditions as exist through that of the intestinal tract. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

17. As we would find in this. This would be one dose, as we have used; that it should be given every other day until at least five have been taken into the system, so we will have a reaction to the condition throughout the whole intestinal

tract, and so that we will cause a reaction to all the organs as affect, both through circulation and through nervous force in this body. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

18. Eucalyptus, two minims; Rectified Oil of Turpentine, two minims; and Heroin, one one-sixtieth of a grain. This should be put in capsules and taken into the system, for we will have a reaction from this through all of the organs here, you see. FEM: Yes, sir.

19. Then we would use vibratory forces, after these have been taken into the system, until we have a reaction all along the whole portion of the spine, especially deep at the cervical, so we will have a reaction of the nerve forces as applied to the brain force and those all along on down to the solar plexus center that we have treated by heat and the application of those forces that will give to the system a reaction of acid forces. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

20. For we must take the poisons from the system by eliminations. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

21. That caused this condition. Do that if we would assist this body here. We are through.

22. Now, Mr. Cayce, you will forget all about this reading that you have given. You are feeling all right, and all of the organs of your body function properly. You are feeling good. Now wake up in two minutes feeling fine and all right.
