1. EC: Now these are the conditions as we find them in this body, Mrs. [4753], we are speaking of. The abnormal conditions that exist in this body have to do with something that has happened in the past to this body. The conditions that exist have brought about a physical weakness, and this physical weakness has been, and is the cause of an effect to the nerves that produce another condition in the body, which causes an effect to the brain itself, and produces a hallucination to the brain. This makes the body imagine things, and makes the body take counsel from those who do not consider all sides to the question in hand, or to the best for this body, or those depending on this body for future training - as in reference to the children. Now these are the conditions we find in the physical body.
2. Again some eight or ten years ago this body had a cold or congestion in the body at the time of the menstrual period, which caused a congestion of the pelvic organs, which produced a reflex condition and affected the kidneys, especially the left. This condition existing in the body produces an overtaxed nervous condition to the entire system. It affects all of the digestive organs through the digestive tract, especially affecting the pneumogastric nerve, at the back of the stomach, so that we find the stomach is drawn and smaller than ordinary. This in turn gives its effect to the mind by the action of outside forces on the body. Now these are the condition we find in this body.
3. The effect produced on the action of the kidneys in their functioning is to prevent enough acid, or that which passes through the functioning of these organs, to eliminate the proper amount from the system, and there is more taken up through the capillaries of this body than should be; hence the odor given off at the time of respiration.
4. To treat this body and reduce the physical conditions would be to bring about a change in the effect of the conditions through the mental body. We would remove the lesion formed by the strain and congestion in the kidneys by

treating the body both electrically and by hand manipulation. The electrical treatment will give new life to the nerves and muscular forces, and will rejuvenate the action of the kidneys. The best electrical treatment will be that of cold or water batteries, or wet plate batteries, using the plates from the center governing this portion of the body, or at the first, second, third, and fourth lumbar, using this alternately - first to the second - first to third, fourth. As these act on the system a relaxation of the muscular forces will be brought about and there will be a change in the physical body. There will be taken into the system as this is being given - this in small quantities -
Sweet Spirits of Nitre, Oil of Juniper.
5. This should be taken in small quantities in a little water.
6. The action of the nerves governing the thinking facilities in affected through the cardiac plexus, so that we find the hallucination tends to those with whom the body is closely associated. The seat of affection to those with whom we are most closely associated is through the heart action to the brain cellular forces. By suggestion, as this body is being treated, will be brought about a change in the mental state of this body, and in the course of one or two moons this body should be in a normal condition. We are through.
