1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, we find here something of a complication of conditions that produce the abnormal forces with this body. These have to do, then, with many various conditions in the functioning of the organs and the effects as are produced in the body.

3. These are the conditions, then, as we find them in this body. First:

4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find low in the resistive forces as are created by a normal circulation. One, then, that has that element in the blood stream that makes an unbalanced condition, produced by the over amount of drosses attempting to be eliminated from various portions of the system, and by this dross infecting or re-infecting tissue in different portions of the body. A condition, then, that may be called catarrhal, first of the stomach, then of the nasal cavities, and the effects then as may be seen by this condition through congestion being distributed in various portions of the body, with a poor elimination exercised, or being assisted in same by the blood being so contaminated with these drosses.

5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this condition as we see as existent in stomach proper, in the pyloric end, we find, produces a taxation to the nerve system, both reflexly and directly - the direct condition being a subluxation as exists in the 4th and 5th centers - that reflexly, as the effect produced on the hypogastric circulation. Hence liver becomes involved, as does the lower digestive system. This produces the headaches, the nausea at times, the easy filling, as it were, of the stomach, the inability to digest certain things, or the inability at other times to digest scarcely anything, even water at the time seeming to hurt or produce

pains in the lower portion of the stomach - not ulcerated at present, not even lacerated, yet those hard formations in the mucus coating, and in some instances - though not at present are these seen - these seem to take hold, as it were, of the wall of the stomach. This retraction in the nerve system produces, then, the general condition as is seen through the capillary circulation, for with the blood's ability to rebuild diminished, and with the taxing of those portions of the system where assimilation and the eliminations are disturbed, we have that as of the lymphatic circulation disturbed directly. Hence the condition in extremities. The reflex conditions in the nerve system also gives that direct reaction to the sensory system, especially the organs of sense being hindered, as is seen from that condition produced in throat, larynx and in nasal cavities, especially. Hence the Eustachian Tubes are choked, the auditory nerves being affected, and all of the pressure produced there often gives distressing conditions in the lungs, though not an organic condition.

6. IN THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, we see brain forces are very good. Exceptional in many lines and manners. In most of the organs, as we may see from this condition, there are varying effects of these existent forces, though, were the conditions eliminated, we would find these would adjust themselves, for organically the organs will function, would the incentives for same be correct and not hindered by other conditions.

7. In the lungs, throat and bronchials, we find those as have been given, though no organic condition in lungs.

8. Heart's action above and below normal - that is, at times we have a higher than normal in the pulsation; at others we have the below normal, or a subnormal pulsation. Respiration usually above the normal. Temperature at times shows, especially when there is the moving, as it were, of diseased tissue in stomach and in throat and nasal forces.

9. In the digestion, this is purely, as we see from condition in stomach, more of a nervous indigestion, disturbed by that condition existing in the lower end. The liver shows its reaction to this torpidity, and the condition of blood and of stomach. Hence we have at times a form of regurgitation from the digestive juices as are produced in the pancrean region and in liver. Acidity then in the intestinal system, with the disturbance as would be from same in the colon.

10. To overcome these conditions, we would first correct that as produced the first overtaxation in nerve system, in the dorsal region.

11. Then we would give that in the system that would eliminate these conditions as exist throughout the intestinal tract and the stomach - taking then, first, at least twenty-six adjustments, osteopathically given - after such have been given, begin with this - this as a dose, and at least three should be taken: Podophyllum.........1/2 grain, Leptandrin............1 grain, Sanguinaria...........1 grain, Senna...............1/2 grain, Cascara Sagrada.....1/4 grain.

12. This, as we see, should be taken at least one day apart, FOLLOWED (after these have been taken) by at least three to fifteen days of the alkaline Petrolagar.

13. Then begin again with the adjustments, osteopathically, for the GENERAL system, applying with same those vibrations from the Violet Ray over the cerebrospinal system. We will relieve those conditions. Do that.

14. We are through for the present.
