1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [4784], and those conditions physical that have disturbed and that do disturb the body.

2. As we find, there are conditions that disturb the physical functioning of the body. These are of a specific nature, and there are complications somewhat in the disturbance. While conditions that are reflexes from the causes are somewhat better in the present than they have been, there are still those primary causes existent in system, produced from effects of inactivity of some glands and overactivity in others; hence we find the circulation in the lymph and muco-membranes is disturbed, while other portions suffer rather in the form of lack of vitality being stored in system.

3. Then, these are the conditions that we find with this body, [4784] we are speaking of:

4. The BLOOD SUPPLY we find very good in many respects. The metabolism and the katabolism are disturbed in circulation, from the abundance of the red blood cell force, which makes or produces those abnormalcies in the blood pressure; or in the heart's action at times, though this is not an organic disturbance in the present but a functional one, for the assimilations are not supplied with the elements to make for the better condition, from the circulations creating in the glands production too much of some portions and too little of others; hence even this disturbance in the blood stream may be called functional.

5. In the NERVE SYSTEM, here we find some of the contributory causes to the conditions, as well as the effects in the nerve system of the disturbance, which allows the nerve forces, especially in the sympathetics, to make for disturbances in the way of irritations that sap or take the vitality easily from the system; hence we have a

4784-1 Page 2

complication in the nerve forces of the system. These conditions are produced, as we find, from pressures that exist in specific portions of the cerebrospinal system, especially where there are the closer associations or connections between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system. This is indicated externally (if there will be proper consideration given) by the effects that arise from such disturbances. In the 3rd, 4th and 5th dorsal area do we find an irritation, and a lesion that is lateral in nature, which produces irritation, with nerve disturbance to throat, head, and to all of the system as related to the sympathetics with the activity of the sensory system. We also find there is some reflex pressure from this area that makes for that disturbance in the form of indigestion which arises at times, when there are those periods when that which has seemingly agreed with the body gives the action or reflections as to produce an upset condition in the digestive system, making for those tendencies for an overactivity of the pancreas reactions, that adds more of those forces to the system, producing an excess of avoirdupois in portions of the system. The whole system's reaction is that physically the body appears to be more than normally well, yet mentally - from this sympathetic reaction - there are distresses throughout these portions of the body.

6. In the functioning of the ORGANS themselves, as indicated, there have been those irritations in the organs of the sensory system; at times noises or an unpleasant fullness in the ear; disturbances in the eye, making for irritations to the the orbs themselves, and giving the reflex irritation in the lids; fullnesses in throat, that produce those actions in the soft tissue of face, throat and head. These are reflexes, and are much improved from those conditions that have existed; but, as we find, the greater portion of same is of a temporary nature, unless there is the removal more of the causes, or those pressures in the dorsal area as indicated, keeping the rest of the system in those lines that will care for those reactions in the system.

7. The lungs and larynx show sympathetic reaction, from the fullness in the circulatory system or the tendency for the metabolism to become depressing at times, and there are those recurrences of a fullness or hot and cold feelings, smothery feelings; yet these come from reflexes, as indicated, through those nerve actions of incoordination between the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal system, especially in the areas as indicated.

8. Heart's action, though abnormal in its pulsations at times, as indicated, is rather of a sympathetic than organic disturbance, in this particular condition.

9. Digestive system shows those effects that have been indicated, through the reflex activity of those pressures that make these specific reactions in the system. With the removal of these pressures there would be brought a much better condition for the whole system.

10. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions for this body, [4784] we are speaking of, we would - through the deep osteopathic manipulations and adjustments - remove those pressures in the cerebrospinal system, as to make for better coordination between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system, and at the same time using those antiseptics that would clarify the digestive area as related to those tendencies for the creating of too much lactics, from this supply of nerve energy that has been coming to portions of the system through assimilations, creating also for the tissue in throat, nasal cavities and head, a better reaction through the use of some mild antiseptics used as sprays occasionally; once a day or once every other day, in the form of any mild antiseptic that is of the nature of a non-acid reaction in the system; as Glyco-Thymoline, Lavoris, or 666, or those reactions that make for a cleansing to the tissue. Should these be found to be irritant in any nature, then we would use the Mono-Ichthyolate (that is, Ichthyol monohydrated, that is reduced to a very low gravity, or the addition of alcohol diluted and water). We would use preferably the Glyco first.

11. With the manipulations and corrections we would have at least two treatments a week, one of the corrective nature and the other of the general nature. See? This is so that we may make for a coordination throughout the system.

12. When the body is ready to retire in the evening, we would use the Plain Radio-Active Appliance that would be attached to the extremities. At first when it is used, attach the first anode to the right wrist, then to the left ankle. The next evening attach the first anode to the left wrist, then to the right ankle. Attach to the wrist where there is the pulsation, or the inside of wrist. Attach to the ankle at the inside of the ankle, just above the ankle bone, see? where the pulsations, or the circulation and the nerve impulses, are closest to the exterior portion of the body. This we would use for thirty to forty minutes each evening.

13. With these treatments, and with these vibrations that

will be set up by the use of the Radio-Active Appliance, we would be mindful of the diet, that there is not too much sweets nor starches taken. This would be an outline, though it may be altered to suit the tastes of the body - but keep rather in these modes:

14. Mornings - citrous fruits, followed with rice cakes or rice cakes and coddled yolk of egg (not the white), with a cereal drink, or a little coffee may be taken (with no milk in it).

15. Noons - a whole green vegetable salad, with a little of the oils, or mayonnaise that is made of oils, as dressing. Use as many as three to four or five vegetables, see?

16. Evenings - mutton, fish or sea foods, with soups, and vegetables - all that grow ABOVE the ground, none below the ground, though those below the ground may be taken in the fresh vegetable salad at the noon meals; as carrots or celery, or the like, but not in the evening meals with meats or green cooked vegetables.

17. Ready for questions.

18. (Q) Is Dr. Jeanette Baldwin giving me the proper treatment for relief? (A) Whatever physician, doctor, masseur, or what, what will outline and give these that we have given here, would give and make for the better corrections, as we find for this body. Do that; for these corrections will relieve not only those external forces that act upon the body from without and from within, but will remove the CAUSES of the conditions as well as the effects. Do that.
