1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [4802]. Now, we find there are disturbing forces in the body. These, as we find, may be removed. They have to do with hindrances in the nerve reflections of the body, FORMING an obstruction in the 1st cervical that were it of a DIFFERENT nature or age in the body would be termed a clot. This is that which causes those reactions in the nerve system, as to produce that of hysteria, or melancholia, or inability for the functioning of those portions of the system as are affected by the organic functioning during that cycle; that is, the disorders in the organs are changed from one affectation to another, so that where nausea may appear in one reaction, the kidneys or the assimilation, or the spleen or liver may be affected in another, as well as this respiratory system and the functioning of the circulatory system. These vary as to the cycle or depression as may be produced.
2. In the activities that will be necessary for bringing a nearer normal reaction, we will find that it will be NECESSARY for alterations or changes in the application for the corrective forces in the system.
3. First, then, we would apply at the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th cervical centers an application of a mullein stupe that will cause the centralization and drawing away of pressures from the brain centers; and for the quieting and easing of the body we would prepare as this - these to be taken only once each day and not more than three taken any one period - this as a dose - prepare same PREFERABLY in capsule formation: Oil of Eucalyptol......................1 minim, Rectified Oil of Turp................1/2 minim, Benzosol in solution.................1/2 minim, Codeine.............................1/60 grain - see?
4. We would also start the drainages in the system through those of the manipulative measures, as will cause - with the

application as made - the drainages from those hindrances existent in the 1st cervical area, or to the pressure in the medulla oblongata. This will keep the activities in a nearer NORMAL reaction.
5. In three to five days we would change the applications for the corrections of the body, [4802]. Ready for questions.
6. (Q) What was the original cause of her present condition? (A) Those of strains to the nervous system, that caused that breaking of a cellular unit, that makes for pressure in the 1st cervical area. It settled there, rather than on brain proper - or we would have paralysis on the brain.
7. (Q) How often should the mullein stupes be applied? (A) When there is excruciating pain, or a tendency for the brain's activity to become OVER-BURDENED with the blood supply.
8. (Q) Please explain just what was meant taking just three capsules at a period? (A) Not taking them for the straight duration of longer than three days before skipping one or two days. This is a hypnotic, NOT a narcotic, and will NOT DEADEN but will make the SYSTEM'S reaction a nearer NORMAL for drainages through the MANIPULATIVE measures, as well as those of the circulation, and ESPECIALLY from the solar plexus center. The manipulative measures we would given once or twice each day, to make or cause the body REST. That should be given as a massage, rather than any CORRECTIVE measures in the beginning, but rather as that that will produce DRAINAGES in the system, keeping the blood supply FROM the brain. The activities will be more from the solar plexus to the 3rd cervical, than above or below these centers.
9. (Q) What doctor would be best to give these manipulations. (A) One in sympathy with such conditions, see - Richardson, McCrary, or such.
10. (Q) What makes her think glass is all over her? (A) This from the pressure in the 1st and 2nd cervical center, from inhibition as received during the period when the first strain occurred in the body. There was BROKEN glass about the body, producing a nerve shock. This is felt, or the IMPRESSIONS of same become present.
11. (Q) How long would this treatment be necessary? (A) Three to five days - we would change same.
12. (Q) Any advice regarding diet? (A) Should be that that would be easily ASSIMILATED, and ESPECIALLY that that will keep the peristaltic movement active, through not OVER-ACTIVE as purging - see?

13. (Q) When did this strain occur, regarding the glass - broken glass? (A) Three to five years ago.
14. (Q) Will this treatment bring permanent relief? (A) As given in the beginning, this may be removed, so long as the pressure remains in the cervical and not in the brain itself, see? but as it lies between the 1st and 2nd cervical plexus, or ON same, THIS may be removed by the drainages from the system CARRYING same, as of distributing same through the ELIMINATING forces; for as is seen, the properties as are given: The stupes prevent inflammation of the nerve center, PRODUCING the irritation rather in the OUTER portion of the circulation, or in the skin itself. The properties given to relieve same, the active forces of same internally of the eucalyptol is to produce a drainage especially through the RESPIRATORY system, affecting the bronchi, the nasal cavities, and those portions where the SYMPATHETIC system (nerve system) and mucus portions of the body are more active, setting up drainage. The rectified oil of turp is an active force with the general respiratory system, and especially internally to that of the hepatics and to the hypogastric, which CENTERS then in a region near the 1st and 2nd cervical; while the forces that act with the benzosol (don't use a substitute!) will be effective to the nerve CENTERS, WITH the codeine - that is a narcotic, but turned, with that of the benzosol, to a HYPNOTIC, in that proportion. The effectiveness, then, of the manipulations will be more effective when the first doses of these have been applied.
15. (Q) Should she be separated from her parents? (A) That would be fearful for the body, in the present - no!
16. (Q) Would it be necessary for her to go to Asheville? (A) Not at the present. We may later, when conditions are more improved.
