Time of Reading Unknown. Glasgow, Ky.

1. EC: Mrs. [4824], Glasgow, Ky., yes we have her here. She is mighty sick. We have, at times, here an over engorgement of the whole nervous system, as a result of which, she is languid; there is a full feeling. She gets weak as a result of this over engorgement. We have a depressed heart, as well as, poor capillary circulation.

2. There is nothing normal in this body, except the amount of blood and tissues. The make-up of the whole body is slightly abnormal. The nerve force has over-exerted itself and as a result we have a relaxation of the fibres and of the muscles of the body. We, also, have a wasted condition and now a relapse of former complaints; she seems flushed, due to this capillary congestion. There is a lack of control of her heart; the nerve stimulation is not normal; the nerve stimulation, that governs the heart, is abnormal and the flow of blood is, also, inhibited, at times.

3. We have a lesion in the spine that produces considerable trouble and relaxation and we have the same through the trunk of the body, through the intestinal tract. They have been over-stimulated and, as a result of this over-stimulation, we have these present conditions. The cardiac plexus is, also, affected; we have an over-stimulation here, the result of which is this sinking condition, which affects the whole circulatory system.

4. The trouble began, way back yonder, in the digestive tract and in the urinary tract, with the uric acid condition. It was not carried off or thrown from the system by the excretive organs as it should have been. The liver was, also, sluggish. The sympathetic system was out of harmony with the rest of the system. As a result, of this, we have this run down condition, which affected the pelvis and, also, the muscle of locomotion. This produced the condition in the limbs; this contracting of the muscles; this pulling up. She is not able to stand well; she has pains in the limbs and hurting at the knees.

5. We have the rest of the condition produced from the overtaxation of the digestive organs and this has produced, from the sympathetic system to the cardiac plexus, the

troubles that we have here with the heart or through the circulation, this is reflex.

6. We have a contraction or drawing, at times, of all the muscles; she is sick, weak; has lack of power, in herself, to control the different functions. We have an over-stimulation, of the cardiac plexus, that produces this shortening of breath; she does not breathe deep.

7. The trouble began, primarily, in the pelvis (in the lumbar region). From there this uric acid condition, which was, also, associated with the other troubles, completely saturated the whole system, due to this over-charge or non-secretion of the kidneys or do not throw poisons from the system.

8. TREATMENT, the whole system needs rest, as much as possible. Get away from this over-stimulation that it has at present and stimulate it from within itself. First, the condition in this system has wrecked the circulation and nerve force, in fact, her whole vitality. The building supply of these forces has been over-stimulated, consequently inaction.

9. Now we must have a reaction of this whole body; a state of repose or rest - a natural sleep. We have now a wakeful state. We want relaxation and rest. She is over-stimulated; the nerve forces need quiet. Take the forces that stimulate her brain; get the mind quiet, consequently the whole body will be in a state of repose. The body builds best when asleep. This is particularly true in this body and we want to keep this condition, if possible, without opiates, unless we are forced to, at times, to resort to them, as they will choke up the circulation and the nerve force will be paralyzed, especially, to the digestive tract, unless nature will take off in the natural channels, during sleep, all these poisons are not taken off properly.

10. This spine needs stimulation; stimulation with the hands. Relax it in order to draw the blood away from the head and keep it away. Relax this whole system, from the tips of the fingers to the toes, then we will get rest. Do not stimulate it too strong; we do not want too much stimulation, we want rest first.

11. Take into the system to nourish it, through the stomach, sugars, that is: sweets, eggs, milk, light diet and a little alcohol or whiskey may be necessary, at times, but only occasionally. Also, lithia, to act on the urinary tract and sodium for the stomach.

12. We do not want an over-stimulation, at any time, in this body. She must be kept as calm and quiet, as possible.
