1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. (Pause) Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep and all of the organs of your body will function properly. You will hear me and answer all of my questions. You have tonight before you the body of Mrs. [4826], and the body is present in this room. Now, Mr. Cayce, I want you to go over this body that you have before you from head to foot, and examine the body carefully and tell me of any ailments or disorders that you may find within this body, and then tell me what will cure or relieve the body from the conditions that you find. Mrs. [4826], present in this room.
2. EC: We have the body here. Now, the abnormal conditions as we find in this body have to do with a condition produced by specific causes within the system, and it affects the organs in their functioning in different manners, as is presented to them in their functioning cycles from time to time. Now, these are conditions as we find them in this body here, Mrs. [4826], we are speaking of: The blood in its circulation, we find is not wholly a normal condition, being acted upon by the nervous conditions that exist in the body from time to time, but present a condition more of fear than of an organic condition of the blood itself, for the numbers of the red blood cells present more than 3,600,000 in number. The number of white blood corpuscles, or the leukocyte force in the system, present not sufficient in number in proportion to the usages as presented through nervous energy, as used in this system from time to time. The action of the nerve centers themselves, as presented in the system, show the effect they exert on the circulation in those ganglia coming in conjunction with the functioning of these specific organs with the functioning from these locations in this body, those at the junction of the secondary cardiac plexus and the second lumbar plexus, hence the effect these conditions have on the pulmonary organs; also the effect as produced through the lower intestinal portions of the body, giving in reflex forces those conditions as expressed through the upper or ascending and traverse [transverse] colon; also the nervous condition that

exists at times through the larynx and the bronchials themselves; this being more a condition as expressed or reached through fear than actual conditions existing in the organs. Yet the condition exists that produces this effect in the system in a physical manner, hence the lesions in the spinal vertebrae at the fifth and sixth dorsal, the second and third lumbar, this being the physical manifestations of the existing conditions in this body, they affecting reflexly the other effects produced in the system, when the vibration necessary for the functioning of the particular organs involved presents itself. The brain force of this body is very good. The impressions as reached it - the brain - in its functioning with the sensory system, responds according, however, to the vibrations through which the impressions are received to the body. The correction of the conditions along the spine would relieve the effect, these impressions, even, and its manner of co-ordination with the rest of the system. The effect as is produced through the pelvis organs, especially those coming under the guidance, as it were, of the locomotories in their functioning of the kidneys and their effect as produced in the system when an overtaxed nervous force reaches these conditions producing through all of the organs of the pelvis the overtaxed, tired, heavy feelings to this body that come at times. The functioning of the digestive tract, the stomach and its functioning, only present the effect of surcharged pneumogastric forces sympathetically acted upon; hence the loss of appetite for the body, that is the stomach itself, refuses with the nervous expression to produce the proper functioning in its creative force to produce a balance between hydrochloric and lactic action on foods taken in the system. Hence the condition as is produced through the rest of the system until they reach the lower intestinal conditions, this being produced, as we have given, from nerve force below, you see.
FEM: Yes, sir.
3. To bring about the perfect equilibrium of forces within this body, we would first remove the causes producing the conditions in the system, by osteopathic manipulations to those portions of the body affected by these. They will be of necessity a deep manipulation, but rather of the osteopathic form of manipulation than that of adjustment or chiropractic forces, for we must give the ends of the nerves reached and affected the same vibration as those about the centers that are affected. After some fifteen treatments of this body through these modes of treatment we would take

into the system this to produce in the body the correct adjustments to those portions of the system as needed through this condition. This would be one dose; there should be some seven taken in the system, and they would be taken every third day; not until the osteopathic treatment was given, would we take them in the system; this would be preferably taken in capsule form:
Rectified Oil of White Pine........1 minim, Oil of Juniper.....................1 minim, Heroin..........................1/24 grain. See?

4. This would be taken on third days, you see.
FEM: Yes, sir.
5. Until seven. The osteopathic treatments would be every other day, you see.
FEM: I see.
6. When these have been given in this system we will find the body will be adjusted to its normal equilibrium throughout, capable of perfect elimination through all of its functioning organs. The diet should be those of proteins as much as possible. Follow these. We are through.
7. Now, Mr. Cayce, you will forget all about this reading that you have given. You are feeling fine and all right, and all of the organs of your body are functioning properly. You are feeling good. Now, wake up in two minutes feeling fine and all right, and absolutely free from headaches.
