1. DEK: Please review work done in Washington today - advise progress made and next move. We have the body, David E. Kahn present and [4830], present, the association and associates, also work done.
2. EC: In considering the varied activities and the contacts as made, some are for the immediate action in the very near future. Some are for the background upon which connections may be made for the carrying on of the work as is contemplated and should make for that as will prove to be worthwhile; well to consider that in each connection and associations, there must be that activity of self towards others as self would be done by, in the same situation or connection.
3. As in the specifications of various contacts made, these may be made to be very much worthwhile, are these considered form that standpoint.
4. (Q) What should [4830] do to assist DEK and his organization to get business? (A) Through the contacts as have been outlined for these will give the body, the organization, the entree [entity?] to and through the proper channels, as associates or connecting with, not only ones to whom distribution may be made, may eventually be made to make contacts to supply such materials for varied connections, specifications may be made in much a manner as to carry that as may be distributed.
5. (Q) Headquarters, New York or Washington? and reasons. (A) As the indications are and as has been intimated in that center where the greater expansion of activity may center from, naturally be near, organization office, where consultation will be easier held - New York. In considering this, however, for [4830] there should be (1st) consideration of health, and as there appears, this may be materially aided or there some specific conditions as we find existent - taken note of - that is - the incoordination of the ducts of the liver with the ducts of the blood supply, and are there those of a low form of electrical vibration so past through these organs as to produce a better distribution of that assimilated, it will continue to

eradicate those of poisons that affect the body as times when these attack the muscular centers through the nerve reflexes, or by using that of a wet cell battery, that had poles of metal that coordinate with bodily functions - or one of nickle, other of copper, with anodes from same of same metal and one of the leads to the anode or plate passing through a metallic solution of Chloride of Gold. See that this acts upon, through vibration upon the organs as referred to, hence in attachments, one day, attach the copper anode or plate to the 9th dorsal plexus and the nickle that passes through solution to that area over the gall duct and the duct of assimilation. The next day attach the copper plate to 9th dorsal plexus, and nickle anode over spleen area. This low form of electrical contact as will be made will assist with those properties to diet will eliminate cause disintegrating tissue in system, revivifying and strengthening body to near normal activity, and be sure that portions of system that needs local attention as throat, nasal cavities, antrum and teeth, need still to be cleansed and then work still carried out, but this as given will produce results, for body. These will aid in such a manner that in a few months or by those periods as has been given, when readjustments in commercial world are reacting to that place with revivifying
6. (Q) What special items should he concentrate on? (A) In that, that is nearest in line with that department in which the body has and has had the greatest amount of activity which comes through the supply department.
7. (Q) What type of houses, most acceptable? (A) As has been indicated, there will be rather that as is of the more permanent nature, than tents, while there has been the intimation in one direction, as has been given, those of the nature that may be supplied through Kahn's efforts may be shown to be most economical and of greater value, these as seen will require this be shown in a constructive manner.
8. (Q) Best man to contact? (A) When there has been the appointment of those that are to supervise the varied divisions of same, these will be the ones, though as given may be approached first, through connections that will deal with those forming the groups and will be that one of cabinet who deals mostly with what may be termed political spoils.
9. (Q) Farley? (A) Yes.
10. (Q) Diet recommended?

(A) As indicated for body, that of not too great a quantity of any condiments in any foods but those as make for rather the tendency toward alkalines, non-acid for body. This may be overdone but in general, that as outlined is well for body.
11. (Q) Of what use can Sergeant Devitt be to the organization at present or future? (A) Rather as that as we find as may be termed a look-out man or one on first lines for varied activity in department. Here in all departments in which body associated or connected with, Washington and other places. First item for Sergeant Devitt. That as may be in the supplying of some of those things will be necessary through various changes as will come about in reorganization of war and other departments. Look for same.
12. (Q) Who will be new assistant Secretary of War? (A) Lytell - Lytle - is one in advance in present.
13. (Q) Would Colonel Payne company be a good one to work Khaki cloth manufacturing? (A) Connection be well provided a bid not through these mills - has not been put in - are their a connection - for furniture and weaving may - Cohen of Greenville. Cloth O.K. not as furnished, Finish through Payne. This requires quick activity. Cohen activity would require changes, though there are those in the new organization in Carolina that make from the woof - or weave that is necessary. They are located in Hendersville, N.C. - near Asheville. This hardly have time. Best go through Payne, the cloth of future South. Kahn to see Payne, to see direct, New York Office.
14. (Q) Where will Lt. Kirstner of 5 Grafton Road be sent for next detail in Q.M. Corps? (A) Seems to go West. May be made in Washington. Kahn don't allow him to - too far - dependable. Association or connection with Payne if desired on deal to handle order.
15. (Q) Will Col. Alex Williams or Wm. G. Ball have best chance to be Q.M. General? (A) There are some questions and it will depend upon the activities in political circles about this. A good chance. Best for Kahn to help Alex Williams in politics.
16. (Q) How should Kahn proceed? (A) Know of whom you speak first. First approach to Kirstner to approach them depends on activity. Reviewing channel. Housing - Farley.
