1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now the abnormal conditions as we find in this body here, Mrs. [4831] have to do with the function of some of the organs of the body. They also are affected through some of the glands and the circulation of the lymphatic fluids of the body. These are conditions now as we find them here in this body. First, with the blood supply in the system we find there is enough of the foreign bacilli, that attacks the hemoglobin to produce temperature in the body. This foreign or abnormal condition affects the mucous glands in the head, especially those about the facial nerve and centers through the nasal passages and through the eyes, enlarging the tear glands of the emunctories to such an extent as to produce an over amount of secretions to be thrown out by these glands in the throat and the larynx, the portions that are affected by the thyroid. Also, the circulation shows the conditions that exist through the trunk portions of the body. [Word(s) missing] that condition exist through the trunk portions of the body, [word(s) missing] that condition, the reflex causes much of the condition [word(s) missing] in the upper portion or through the emunctories and lymphatic circulation, that is, through the intestinal tract the secretions through the lymphatic circulation and hepatic circulation in the body to produce a sufficient amount of secretions to cause normal functioning of the lower intestinal tract, hence the condition existing at times through this portion of the body the circulation becoming affected or taking on the poisons as are left by the improper action of this portion of the system causes reflex nerve forces, a detriment to the conditions as given here in other portions of the body. The nerve forces as affected or as shown by the existing conditions produces a supersensitive action of the nerve ganglia in both sympathetic and sensory centers of the nervous system so that the [word(s) missing] becomes [word(s) missing] with the action of the supersensitive [word(s) missing] and add to the circulation that which would increase the number of the leukocytes warriors necessary for the destruction of the bacilli being carried in the system, and to increase the

number of warriors necessary for the destruction of the bacilli, a condition from the reflection both of improper action through the intestinal tract and the lymphatic circulation would be to produce or bring about the normal condition as exists or should have existed in the past. We would take into our system the [word(s) missing] necessary to produce a proper amount of secretions to be thrown off or to be created in the intestinal tract from the action of medicinal properties.
2. Each morning there would be taken into the system one-half teaspoonful phosphate of soda to which there is added five drops of syrup of sarsaparilla. There would be taken every five days one two-hundredth (1/200) grain atropine with one-half glass of water to which there is added three grains of carbonate (not bicarbonate) of soda well dissolved. This would be taken preferably in the evening to give the body rest and to allay action of secretions in the emunctories. This would be kept up some three to four doses. The first is given each morning before meal.
