1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body. You will answer any questions which I will ask you regarding same.
2. EC: We have the body here.
3. Now, we find there are disturbing conditions in the physical functioning of the body here. These have to do with specific conditions existent and the effect these have produced upon the various functioning organs, especially those of the eliminations.
4. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [4854] we are speaking of, present in this room. First:
5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, here we find the signs or conditions as apparent from the poor elimination, or the distorted elimination as is exercised in the system, especially that of the effect as is produced upon the system through that condition existent in the excretory functioning of a portion in the liver. We also find those elements or conditions in the blood supply wherein the lack of the sufficient replenishing forces are supplied within the system, being called upon to use too much of the reserve power, or the lack of the sufficient numbers in the red blood cells themselves, and the elements and constituents of the hemoglobin - as it is separated - shows the effect of the drosses as are left within the blood itself, and the effect in the organs of the body is an effect of these conditions.
6. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, here we find much of the disturbing conditions apparent, yet one that might be termed well balanced as to the nerves of the body. Sufficient nerve, true, but in the expectancy of the centers themselves to carry out that of the proper information, as it were, or impulse TO the various portions, lies the distress in this direction.
4854-1 Page 2
7. IN THE PHYSICAL FUNCTIONING AND THE ORGANS OF THE BODY, brain forces of the body good - exceptional, and the ability to control self as to the mental attitude is above the ordinary.
8. In throat, bronchials, lungs and larynx, here we find the elements of the improper elimination exhibited in the condition produced in the membranes of the system, though not an organic condition - NOT an organic condition; rather that of the reflex condition from that produced in the blood supply, in the subluxations as exist in the lower dorsal, and the effect produced in system from non-elimination in the body.
9. In the heart's action, here we find again the effect of a disturbed condition, as is seen by the below normal temperature at times and the pulsation; yet not an organic condition. One slowed, as it were, by impulses, through those subluxations that reflect through the secondary cardiac plexus. Hence the feelings at times where the extremities appear to be relieved from connection with other portions of the body.
10. In the liver and the digestive system, here we find the greater disturbance in this body; though that PRODUCING same, or that which has builded UP that condition, radiates from condition existent in the cerebrospinal plexus, WITH conditions as have been brought on by taxation and by the re-infection from within itself. Though a portion of these conditions have been relieved in part from time to time, the seat or the causes of this re-infection has not been relieved in the system. Hence the inability of the body to take on that of sufficient of the nerve energies of the resistive forces in muscular tissue, in body building forces, in the glands' reaction, to build up in this direction.
11. In the effect as produced in the liver, we find congestion in the left lobe, while in the right not so much.
12. In the action produced through the hepatic circulation we find a cold or slow circulation, becoming sluggish through the overtaxing of the kidneys to relieve the pressure from the system through the eliminations carried on there. Then, with this low circulation in the hepatics, the lymphatic circulation becomes low also, and only at night or at rest does there apparently come the sufficient capillary circulation for the body to eliminate through these channels, and this being improper in its actions leaves the body rather worn out after such experiences than relieved. The circulation being taken up, it becomes then through THESE channels that the re-infection of the system itself
4854-1 Page 3
takes place, and the capillary circulation being deficient makes the body, as it were, react cold from within self.
13. In the digestive system we find poor assimilation, from the lack of the proper juices from within to supply sufficient rebuilding forces to meet the needs of the body.
14. Now, to bring about the better, normal condition to meet the needs of the body, to bring better conditions for the system, first we would - through deep osteopathic manipulation - make corrections of those conditions existent in the 4th and 5th dorsal centers and in the 9th, 10th and 11th dorsal centers, relaxing at the same time those existent forces that come and go in the upper cervical (2nd and 3rd) and the sacral region; supplying to the body in medicinal properties those of the forces necessary to rebuild and replenish the system and at the same time bring about the correct forces in digestion - preparing for these medicinal properties as this:
15. Take eight (8) ounces of garden sage (dried). Put in one-half (1/2) gallon of rain water. Reduce by simmering (not boiling) to one-half (1/2) the quantity. Strain, and while warm add: Beet Sugar.............................2 ounces, dissolved in Hot Water..............................2 ounces, Ambergris.............................15 grains, dissolved in Pure Grain Alcohol.....................1 ounce, Gin (preferably Gordon's Gin, as near pure as may be obtained)....4 ounces, Oil of Sassafras.....................1/4 ounce.
16. Shake the solution together before each dose is taken. The dose would be teaspoonful three (3) times each day, before meals - and EAT the meals!
17. Let the meals consist principally of the juices of meats, but no meats - unless wild game - and those of fruits, and vegetables that grow above the ground - not below the ground but those ABOVE the ground.
18. Take also those properties in that of codliver oil, as is to supply to the regeneration for the liver action.
19. As an inhalant - for the condition in nostril and throat and bronchials (this used only as a cleanser and to prevent infection through cold or congestion that may arise in the system): To four (4) ounces of alcohol, add: Eucalyptol............................20 minims, Oil of Turp............................5 minims, Canadian Balsam.......................10 minims, Benzosol..............................20 minims, or if
4854-1 Page 4
Creosote is used instead, only.........5 minims, Tincture of Tolu in solution..........30 minims.
20. Keep in container at least twice the size of solution - a container with glass cork or stopper. Shake solution together before inhalations are taken, and breath through the nostril and through the mouth. This taken as a cleanser for this portion of the body, AIDING in the action of foods or properties taken into the system that may be more easily digested.
21. Take at least fifteen (15) of the adjustments, and relax the body by adding the vapor or hot packs to the portions before adjustments are made.
22. Do as we have given and we will bring the near normal forces for this body, [4854]. Ready for questions.
23. (Q) What is the condition of the colon? (A) Here, this shows the effects of the bad digestion and tends towards the impactions, filling at times until there is the trouble produced. With the taking of the adjustments, manipulations - changing in the diet and in the properties taken, we will find these portions cleansing themselves nominally. Well that the colon be thoroughly cleansed at times by oil enemas.
24. (Q) What kind of oil? (A) Russian White Oil, or that of olive oil - or cleanse with the Russian oil, then using small quantities of the olive oil as food values for the walls of the colon itself.
25. (Q) In what proportions? (A) Use from pint to half a pint in gallon of the warm water.
26. (Q) What is the condition of the appendix? (A) Where conditions have existed as have here with this, and in the conditions that have been brought about there, we will find that with the colon and with the digestive system disturbed, ALWAYS the forms of distress in the appendix region. Cleanse the system if we would bring the normal forces, as has been outlined. Do that.
27. (Q) What is the cause of the tension and mental depression? (A) From the conditions as has been given - with a low pulsation, a slowed heart action, a tension on the system and the ability of the conscious or the sympathetic system to overcharge or overact, NATURALLY the reaction between a subluxated cerebrospinal nerve system and a high tension in the sympathetic brings dejection, over-sympathetic and over sensitiveness, and melancholia.
28. (Q) How long will it take to remedy these conditions? (A) From twenty-seven to thirty-five (27 to 35) days.
29. (Q) Is the diet the body is on correct?
4854-1 Page 5
(A) In PART. Rather that as has been outlined to meet the needs of the properties taken and of the corrections through the adjustments and manipulations supplied, for the various conditions as to diet are to meet the various elements necessary to be supplied to a body rebuilding. Follow those suggestions as has been given if we would bring the better conditions for this body.
30. We are through for the present.
