1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [4866] present in this room, who seeks advice and guidance as to his mental and material affairs and welfare. You will answer the questions which he will ask regarding these.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body and the enquiring mind, [4866] present in this room.

3. In the physical forces of the body there are conditions the body should be mindful of, that the body may be the better physically able to meet the mental and material affairs or problems that present themselves from time to time. This especially in reference to the functioning of the organs of the sympathetic nervous system. While these do not present such a disorder as to be troublesome in the present, unless there are considerations and some precautions taken these will give trouble later on. There should be, then, some corrections made in the upper dorsal, or 3rd and 4th, and in the 3rd and 4th cervical area.

4. Ready for questions.

5. (Q) Will the business I am in [carmel corn business] now be a success at the place I am now located? (A) This, to be sure, offers many and varied possibilities, and is dependent upon factors both as related to self and to those whom the body must contact in and through same. Taking all conditions in consideration, then, WE would give that with the proper precautions, with the proper mode or manner, or policy handled by self, this would be a success in the present surroundings and location. Policy, then, would be in that as to meet the emergencies that arise in the various channels and branches of the undertaking, and there will be seen that there are some portions that are to be stressed or to be carried farther than some other portions, while none should be neglected. In giving of service in such undertaking, the public as well as self and self's own duties, self's own obligations, should be taken

into consideration.

6. (Q) How can I improve the product I sell? (A) This, as is seen, comes with the variations that are necessary for the needs of the uses that will be brought in activity through the various manners in which emergencies in various fields or lines are to be added from time to time; for as it develops in the use of same, then these will be necessary. Meet them, as is given, as they arise.

7. (Q) In what other kind of business would I be successful? (A) That depends upon what is termed a success. Success may be made in many fields by this body, that would not be success at all in the real sense of success; for success depends upon the building of that contentment as related to self, its relations to its obligations and those dependent upon same, and the public, as well as the conscience to the Maker. In this present line, then, we will find there will be some phases or angles of same that will develop wherein the body may, with its proper attitude to itself, to its Creator, to its fellow man, make a mental and spiritual, and a material success. BEST that a body, this body, seek first to know that what is being done is right in the sight of that the body would worship, and the results and the success that comes from such undertakings are such that make for real success in life. Not all to have even that which supplies the needs of the physical man, nor yet all to have this world's goods that may easily take wings and fly away. Rather that contentment which comes from proper relations with the fellow man, contentment of a service rendered in the eyes of the Maker, and with same comes a real success; for physical, mental or material goods in this mundane sphere are LENT of the Lord. What wilt thou give in return? Thou art the keeper, thou art the husbandman, and one day there must be a reckoning with thy Maker. Then, in thy going ins and thine coming outs before man, know that all is in HIS keeping and He doeth all things well. The silver and gold is His. What THOU hast, what THOU may do is but as LENT, then, from Him. In the service that is in all good conscience, then, whether in making poles, staves, or selling shoestrings, is as of the manner in which self may show forth that concept of the duty thou wouldst perform in His vineyard. Not as the goody-goody man. Not as the one that would condemn thine brother. Rather that one that escheweth evil, looks to HIM for aid, succor and understanding, and contentment will follow thee, as well as that as thou makest thine self to be worthy of handling of this world's goods; for to one He gave five talents, to another two. Art thou the one talent man that would hide,

knowing that there will be required the reckoning? Rather he that uses self in service to His fellow man lendeth to the Lord. Of HIM will there be given that that makes the success in the mental, in the material, in the spiritual understanding that comes from a life worth while in the vineyard of the Maker.

8. (Q) Would it pay to start in business at Roanoke Rapids, N.C.? (A) Would be well, with the policy that has been set by self. Be true to that, and to those thou wouldst serve.

9. (Q) Any further advice for this body at this time? (A) First we would make that physical change, that will give for self less antagonistic feelings from day to day, and gain for the self mentally a better outlook on the material and spiritual life. Seek the Lord while He may be found, and those things that will be put in thy keeping from day to day will bring that satisfaction that comes from walking close with Him. His grace is sufficient. The purposes are noble. Keep them in that light.
