1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [4877], ... St., ..., Okla., and his studies and associations at the Oklahoma University. You will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding these.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [4877].
3. In the considering of studies and associations, and that for which and THROUGH which the body would make the greater success, many varying conditions should be considered. First would be that relationship as the body, the ENTITY and body, bears in relation to its experience in the present plane or experience. This, as we find, exists:
4. There has come that period when the studies have become boresome, in special subjects at least, and the body-mind longs to attempt its own abilities - against even the judgment of some of the associates, family, and connections; yet there is that, that holds the body in check - especially its relationship to father and brother; yet the business of these [GD's note: Tailors - Importers] does not hold for the body of [4877] that OUTLOOK as would be the proper element, as is felt by the body at present.
5. Well, then, that there be a twofold consideration; not only of self at present, but of the duty that the body, mentally and physically, owes to these; and while this should NOT interfere with the success - while the body chafes UNDER this, this will NOT interfere at this time.
6. Two fields, then, offer the channels for the studies at present. One in the ELEMENTAL engineering. The other in SALESMANSHIP in JOURNALISM. Now these are peculiar, in a manner, yet these are the channels through which the body, the mental abilities of this body - [4877] - will find the opportunity for the development of the best in self.
7. Continue, then, through the present period, or semester - and the next - in these studies; specializing in either or both of these fields. THEN it would be well for the body to try itself IN a field that is not in the present surroundings; preferably in the East. Then there will be

seen there will come that decision in self wherein these may be brought to the proper relationships to the endeavors and abilities of the entity. Make for self that ABILITY to do that as is desired, and let the ABILITY of self in the field chosen CHOOSE SELF as that one to carry that work forward. Ready for questions.
8. (Q) Should I make any change in my present studies? that would better prepare myself for my proper vocation? (A) Those outlined, as has been given - these changes.
9. (Q) What steps should I take to gain popularity in the school I attend? (A) He that would be popular must make OTHERS popular. Do not think that friendship or popularity may be gained without SHOWING self and self's abilities. Not by that of being ONLY "hail fellow well met", but in the in's and out's, the yea's and nay's, be with an eye single for the other FELLOW, rather than self. THIS brings that as is TRUE popularity. Not that I WILL that I may GAIN that popularity as is of the hero of the moment, but rather friends well chosen, and then in an eye single for service to others; and remember, the little things in life - a word, a look, a kindness shown - are worth more than boastfulness in any sense, or in piles of gold.
10. (Q) Any further advice for this body? (A) Much may be said along this line. Do this for the PRESENT and he'll have his hands full! We are through for the present.
