1. GC: Now you will have before you the well being drilled on the land of Madison Byron Wyrick in Bosque County, Texas. You will give us the conditions of operations at the present time, telling how the obstructions had best be removed from the hole and any other information regarding these operations that will be of benefit and help to those who are bringing in this well. You will answer any questions regarding same that I will ask you.

2. EC: Yes, we have the operations here. This shows how that the cavings have caught the tools in portion of the hole. This we find makes a very unsatisfactory condition and that it will be necessary to string in other tools and to drill with smaller tools, until sufficient of obstructions are removed from the line to be released. By using the smaller tools, this may be accomplished in the manner in which this may be released without the destruction of the hole or of the line. This we find rather deep in hole, being in the forty-nine to fifty-two hundred feet level. This caused, we see, by the movements in the under currents. This may be accomplished through care and diligence. This, however, should not be abandoned in the present condition, for this can be removed. Follow in that line.

3. (Q) Where may the smaller tools be obtained? (A) They are now on the ground, necessary for more line, see?

4. (Q) Was the earthquake in the West of a few days ago the cause of this trouble? (A) In part, yes.

5. (Q) Any other information regarding this that will be of help to the operators? (A) This is that in hand at present. We would follow this line.

6. (Q) How long will it take to remove this, where the line may be released? (A) This should not take so very long, when it is strung in. The changes, the necessary precautions to take with this condition is the longer time. See, this is fast and will of necessity have to be broken up some.
